Head Unit Issue

I have a sony xplod unit that has come with the car and recently whilst driving the car the unit has died a death.

I have no sound or display on the lcd screen on the faceoff. I have checked the fuses in the headunit and also the passenger side fuse box and all seem fine. The headunit is getting power as the LED is flashing on the bottom of the unit and it is also taking in and ejecting cds just no sound. I have tried a new head unit and exactly the same problem.

Any advise please?

Tried swapping the red and yellow wires on the iso? They're just bullet connectors and snap on and off... I had a similar problem with a Sony hu on my old Corsa.
