***How much is it worth?***

  Clio 172 Cup
Do you think its best I sell my genuine Renault timing belt tools or offer a rent-out service with them if thats an option? Ive used them to do my belts and obviously no need for them now.

I've got a 2003 172 I have been building into a track car, resprayed in pearl white (clio 200 colour). It's not a perfect paint job but it's pretty good.

It has:

Silicone hoses
Sabelt wheel
Lifeline quick release
Momoboss
Rebuilt 225 brembos
Scenic discs
Goodridge hoses
Stainless pad pin clips
Gaz GHA coilovers
PMS gear linkage
Polybushed ARB inner/outer.
Bbs genuine split rim wheels from a polo rebored to 60.1.
Michelin pilot sport 3 all four corners loads of tread left.

H&r front spacers
Engine Dynamics cams
Ktec inlet
Spa design gauges - oil temp & pressure and water temp/volts.
White dash clocks
Blue interior lights, aircon etc.

Custom leather renaultsport embroidered bucket seats.
BTB stealth exhaust system with decat.
OMP & VBD x low seat frames.
Large rear view mirror.
Stub axles repainted.
Rebuilt rear calipers
PMS front solid top mounts & brace.
Vibratechnics engine and gearbox mounts.

Engine & box rebuilt 15k ago by DDC Renault specialists Doncaster. They had it as a track project and had it mapped with cams and RR @ 183.4. Shell on 83kish originally.

I also have everything needed for an ITB conversion; Gen90, Ktec jenveys with filter, pedal, cable, polo rad, spal fan & some other bits.

How much should I sell the car for? Either with or without the ITB package?

This will be for sale in the next week or two

What's my 182 worth?

Black gold 182 full fat 2004 plate

Plate included

69,000 miles
FSH
8 months mot no advisories
Belts, pump and oil change at 65,500
Gear box oil change 65,500
197 cams fitted 65,500 (184bhp with before and after printouts) remapped at EFI

The car came already with a custom cat back exhaust, rear boxes deleted 4inch exhaust tips. I've had a sleeve welded onto the cat to create a tighter fit with the centre box.

I've spent a small fortune since owning the car in February....

New coil pack and leads
New ngk spark plugs
Polly bush dogbone mount
Polly bush upper engine insert
Cooksport lowering springs with new top oem top mounts
Front oem shocks
Interior and exterior carbon dipped with engine cover
Fatty induction kit
16inch trophy turinis with minor kurbing
Rainsports tyres on all 4 plenty of tread! rears are 2 months old
New drivers side drive shaft fitted less than 500miles ago!

The bad points are:

I've had to replace the uch due to a solid immobiliser light issue, this was swapped with a 172 uch so cruise control will not work, all that's needed is a 182 uch reprogrammed with the Ecu.

Minor stone chips to the front bumper
Small scuff to the lower passenger bumper and splitter

Slight lacker peel on the front bumper under the passenger headlight

Small paint chips to the drivers door

There's no serious damage or scratches to the body work! Cleans up well after a polish and wax!

Seems like you wont save much money with a diesel, and will £2k make a big difference for a house??

On topic.. £2.5-2.8k.

Morning Guys,

Just looking for some advise and I promise I'll get some picture up shortly.

Due to recent events, I find myself in a situation where I need to part with my 182 (sad face).

The specs are as follows:
  • 2005 Clio 182 in Inferno Orange, with 110k miles.
  • Great paint, however not perfect. The usual front end pebble dash etc.
  • Both belts done in April 2014 by Mickleton Service Station, in Barnard Castle. (Great bunch of guys and definitely know a thing or two about Renault!)
  • Freshly resprayed Turini's (So fresh I haven't even picked them up from the sprays yet!)
  • Slight suspension tweak and refresh. Brand new shock in May 2014, along with Eibach Proline springs, camber bolts and a full wheel alighment by Revolution in Gateshead.
  • Yozzasport cat-back exhaust, with a modified K-Tec cat.
  • Great service history and folder
  • Many minor changes; sprayed bullets, carbon rear wiper blank and headlight washer covers, will add more as I think of them.
Now here comes the slight difference. It was taken off the road at the end of 2014, with the idea in mind of changing it into a weekend car. Rear seat delete and a mat in place, Recaro Trendline fronts, smaller steering wheel, potentially a rear cage etc, etc.

Anyway, in haste I stripped the car. Removed the sound deadening, relayed the carpet, sold the front and rear seats (with the idea of Trendline's in mind), and sold the shite v6 intake, that is miles too big for the engine bay.

As it stands at the moment, mechanically it just needs a fresh battery, new set of top mounts that were forgotten about during shock refresh 😊 and some pre-hibernation-wake-up love.
Ideally I want to get rid of it as quickly as possible, however my ex has said it can stay in the garage for a couple of months, if needs be. I'm perfectly happy to sell as is, but am I right in thinking who the hell would buy a car with no seats 😂?

With the above in mind and assuming I threw some Cup seats in, what would be the best way to sell and advertise and what would be a fair price to put it up at? Although a daft question, the 182 was my first car and I have zero experience of selling one, let alone a car that isn't currently on the road.

Appreciate all of your help (Also open to offers ).

Joe.

  Clio 182
Clio 182 cup in Racing Blue.
70k used daily.
Full service history.
Tracker fitted.
4x good Eagle F1 Tyres.
KTec Super sports exhaust with sports cat.
Half leather interior upgrade.

Bad points:
- Some spots of lacquer peel in a few random places, nothing major.
- Few car park dings
- Alloys could do with a refurb
- SERV light on due to change of seats (cloth to leather by previous owner!).

Any ideas on value guys? It needs some love to get it mint condition, but it's a solid little car that's been very reliable!
Will post pics soon, but you get the idea.

Think i've decided i'm going to part with my 182 and get something a little more comfortable, as i'm doing more mileage than i originally thought i'd do and its just a little too loud and comfortable really. I do love the car though and i'll be gutted to see it go.

What do you reckon its worth?

Pics can be found here: http://www.cliosport.net/threads/my-second-182.799277/

Anyway spec is roughly:

Mileage is aprox 107K, so average for age.
JMS RS2 mapped by RS tunning to around 185bhp
New Eibach sportline springs and cup shocks (6 months ago)
Powerflex upper engine mount, dogbone and steering rack bushes (roughly 3 months old)
Scenic shifter with Yanoo stiff shift, also with mod to move stick further back.
300mm omp steering wheel with mono boss
Corbeau club sport seats without runners on X-low subframes
Rear seats removed carpets and belts removed
KTec racing exhaust (though centre is silenced powerflow)
2 week old 15" Pro Race 1.2 in graphite with brand new AD08R tyres all round
Brembo HC disc and pads front - Genuine renault rear all replaced less than 6 months ago
Skoda front splitter
Powerflex exhaust hangers
16" Oz ultraleggera wheel with Nankang NS-2R (180 street compound) approx 4-5mm thread
Standard 182 wheel in good condition with no tyres
All original interior to return to standard including steering wheel, airbag, rear seats, carpet, parcel shelf, front seats, ISOFIX bar, standard shitfer with Yanoo 3.0, etc
Cambelt due in approx 2 years time, was last done by renault specialist
Coil pack, leads, plugs, oils and filters all replaced by me 3-4 months ago.
Original intake system present too for going back to standard.

I'm thinking to get the biggest return i need to put the car back to standard/near standard spec so something like:

Mileage is aprox 107K, so average for age.
JMS RS2 mapped by RS tunning to around 185bhp
New Eibach sportline springs and cup shocks (6 months ago)
Powerflex upper engine mount, dogbone and steering rack bushes (roughly 3 months old)
standard shitfer with Yanoo 3.0, also with mod to move stick further back.
original wheel and airbag returned
standard 182 half leather interior
KTec racing exhaust (though centre is silenced powerflow)
Brembo HC disc and pads front - Genuine renault rear all replaced less than 6 months ago
Skoda front splitter
Powerflex exhaust hangers
16" 182 wheel with Nankang NS-2R (180 street compound) approx 4-5mm thread
Cambelt due in approx 2 years time, was last done by renault specialist
Coil pack, leads, plugs, oils and filters all replaced by me 3-4 months ago.

Approx £2k -2.5k?

I'd then sell separately the following:
Ultraleggera - £350? could do with refurb
Pro Race 1.2 with AD08R - £450-500?
Scenic shifter with yanoo - £80-100
Pair Corbeau clubsports with subframes - £400 - 450

I was thinking about removing the RS2, but that would reduce the value of the car a little and after buying standard airbox and pipes or fatty and remapping, i'd probably only gain £300-400 minus whatever the difference in value was. so maybe not really worth the effort. I think the RS2 make the car a more attractive purchase too as it's not just another 182

I reckon £2250 no less, someone would be getting a good little car for that. Can't really get anything quicker for the money. Looks good too.

It is an awesome little car, and it's been 100% reliable in the 6 months and approx 7k miles i've had it. But my commute to work is generally long straight A roads with average speed cameras. There are a couple of tight twisty roads that i can have fun down, and it's brilliant fun down them, but 35-40 minutes of being slightly uncomfortable in a loud little car is hard to justify for 2-3 minutes of fun each day (which I don't even get half the time anyway because of the weather or being stuck behind someone doing 30-40mph, generally slowing down further when a car is coming in the opposite direction).
I'd love to keep it as a track day/toy, but i'm already paying for my wifes car, plus needing a daily driver for myself, can't justify having 3 cars really. especially when we've just bought a new house with a massive mortgage and have my third child due soon.

I'm thinking of selling my 51 plate 172 ph2 and have no idea what it's worth. Can anyone tell me how much I'd be looking at?

172 ph2 Grey
Almost 60k miles
Loads of service history
All belts plus dephaser and water pump April 2015 at Doncaster DDC
Un-modified
MOT Nov 2017 + Recent service at DDC + 2 new front tyres

Bad points
Curbed wheels
A couple of scratches and bodywork marks
Someone has pinched my door bullets! and I haven't replaced them yet
