Just doing the rear disks, and...

...how do I slide get the pads out of the carrier? Car is jacked up on the drive with new disks on, but I can't get the pads out of the carrier. They seem to be locked in place by a v shaped notch in the pad. Any help greatly appreciated.

pull the wee retaining clip out and the hammer out the retainer at the bottom

Ahh, yes, the retainer at the bottom... needed a good hammer. Problem solved, thanks
