My engine mods are:
ENGINE
full stainless scorpion system with 4" rolled
Full samco hose kit
lightened and balenced flywheel
green cotten air filter and breather filter
alloy header tank
alloy FMIC (2wd cosworth with custom boost circuit
alloy swirl pot
alloy turbo heat shield
alloy carb elbow
alloy alterinator arm
T25 stage 2 hybrid turbo 360bearings -31 cossie actuator
in car bleed value
low temp thermo
low temp rad switch
cup mod
new copper cored rad
re jetted carb for 25psi but only run 14psi for everyday use!
magnacor leads

Made 156bhp @14psi with my old turbo that f*cked! But now i've got my new turbo on and setup up for 20+psi. Also got to fit my water/meth injection.
Goin to the R/R day on the 27th instead of RWYB, can't afford both at the mo! But i'll be at santa pod in feb/mar for sure!!


The wheels on my 172 are only 17"s just lowering now

Nice! What psi is the t25 good for?Im thinking about getting one off Adam L on rtoc but not sure whether to go for a t25 or t28.

I'd say about 25psi but i keep mine at 18psi for just normal everyday use then when it's pod or something like i turn it up to say 20psi, Would go more but haven't got the W/I fitted yet!

T25 are just like T2's for spooling up, heard the T28 has got a bit more lag..

I've brought a kit of the american ebay using all the same equipment as the aquamist kit but only cost $179 plus postage! Came to £120 delivered Then all i needed to get was my own tank as the kit didn't come with one, so i got in contact with snowperformance.com and they sorted me out wit a gallon tank with a level sensor built in for £30 delivered again fro the USA, That took 3 weeks to come tho! The kit only took 9 days:approve:
I think the name of the company i got the kit from was called cooling mist

Yes and no lol! Ive had to wait since just before xmas for it as ive had no space to put it anywhere, but im finally getting it on saturday! Was supposed to get it on tuesday but ive gotta work in brum all this week so got to wait for the weekend. Few more days wont hurt though!

I like the 172 wheels on the R5, really suits it.

I have never been keen on R5 GTT as i've always been an Escort RS man, but I really like the look of yours.

Most people on here won't be so keen on the wheels on the 172 though, a nice set of 16's will suit the car better.

Yep rtoc have done really well with the share. I will have to order my ticket soon but need to find out that if my cars not ready whether they will let me in in my clio! l would prefer ND at the pod though. Maybe next year!

172 wheels go really well on the R5, prob is they also go really well on the clio!! clio looks a bit 4x4, wheels would look a lot better if it was slammed, but as you said that on the cards.
