Proper polish

Wash my car, dry but never give it a polish, cause im lazy and suffer from bad elbows so dont actually manage to get anywhere near finished. i was to get my car valeted but im not sure if theyre going to use all the products that get mentioned on here, ie clay etc. i have so many swirl marks on my car its just looking ugly when the sun shines on it. Can i trust a £40 valet to romve these?

i dont think a £40 valet will remove swirls, in fact im possitive, at the most they will fill the swirls with some polish, but they will only come back, you need a pc :), or go to a proper sprayer and get them to use a mop on it

take it to a good bodyshop, tell them you want it machine polished to remove all the swirls, should cost about £40

then you need to start washing the car with one of these

its a Meguiars Lambswool Wash Mitt, super soft and wont cause swirl marks

then for drying, use a microfibre waffle weave towel, like the new Meguiars Water Magnet

you can buy both of these from http://www.seriousperformance.co.ukwww.seriousperformance.co.uk but you might have to email him, not sure if they are on the site yet
