Sorry if it sounds newbie, I've never been on a track day and I was wondering if my car would need anything changed or required to be able to go on track, as I see most people use track cars, is a standard road car fine?

I commute 20 miles a day 6 days a week in mine.
Just make sure the car is healthy service wise.
I swap tyres and brakes specifically for the day though.

I was up there today and the GT still looked like it had a lot of work going on. I'd be surprised if it's done.

Hopefully you guys have better weather than I did today!

If I come up, how do I get to the pits? Do I just turn up and sign on as a passenger without a car or do I need to find someone to get me to the pits? Seem to recall briefly joining the track last year to get to the pits.

How much is passenger/spectator and do I need to be there for briefing?

@masekwm I would suggest being there for the briefing as this takes place at the entrance to the circuit.
The SEN circuit we are using doesn't include the pits/garages which is a bit poo. You'll need to jump in with someone to take you over I would have thought. I've not done this circuit layout before though

Still be fun in the wet. It's the only track where I don't actually mind. You can just have fun at a much slower pace sliding the car around.
