Some advice on Clio 182 model, dont shoot me

http://www.cliosport.net/threads/172-182-guide-cup-packs-spec-info.562600/

Morning all, new to the Renault word I've always had old fords and still do but just picked up a 182 and having a good read round on this forum, including the guide above.

Just trying to working out what 182 I have, 55 plate and looks to have: xenons, half leather seats, twin exhaust, light washers as standard as per guide.
optional I think it the spoiler pack, but the front splitter isn't fitted could of been removed. The car is black to ties in the colours available.

So do I have the 182? not a one 182 cup? I see a lot of people taking about the 182 not having as decent suspension just trying to working out if I have the better suspension or not? Plus I need a new hub for the passenger side so I want to make sure I buy the correct one.

Thanks

Pics could be useful?

There is a
182- has leather interior, no spoilers/splitter and silver alloys.
182 cup packed -known as the FF on here same as above but has spoilers, splitter, grey alloys and slightly firmer suspension.

182 cup- crap cloth interior, and cup suspension.

Thanks for quick reply, just attached 2 pics to by 2nd post. Hard to say regarding alloys and the fella before has just repainted them so could be any colour to start with.

Yeah, it's the best one, the cup is slightly pointless IMO.

Only 100% way to tell is to measure the hub bolt spacing, but sadly I can't remember what the measurements are.

Cheers for the reply, ill do some searches online and here for measurements and double check.
Be nice to have picked up the better one, good cars for the spec Im quite impressed with the car for the price!

54mm hub to damper bolt spacing - 172, 172 Cup and standard 182.
60mm - 182 Cup, 182 with cup suspension pack and Trophy

1*2s are great value - you can't go faster for the money!

I'm on the Wirral. I'll keep an eye out for this. Sounds like yours is the FF, best 182 in my opinion bar the Trophy.

That's good news, ill double check the hub measurements later to confirm it.

Cool yeah, is there any garages local you know of who are good with the reno or the clio sports?
Just doing a bit of research on them as I have only ever had fords and classics as a toy.

Cheers

Thought so, I've seen you a few times in irby and Pensby. Thought the car looked familiar being a 55 with stickers.

I use @bloke Carl on here, he's spot on. Only based in Wallasey too. Quite a few use him mate so your in very safe hands.

Just to add to this, you can have one cup pack without the other. Ie style pack (spoiler and splitter) and chassis pack (anthracite wheels, tweeked suspension and larger bearing hubs (with 60mm strut bolt spacing as mentioned above)). And the age these cars are its never certain with whats been swapped over the years!

Considering it's recently had the wheels refurbished and is missing the splitter it's also possible it's got neither cup pack and the owners just put a couple of bits on the car themself.

Okay cheers. That the handling pack that isn't as good compared to normal 182?

It's shocks and springs and a slightly wider track at the front, IIRC 10mm lower springs and slightly lower shocks.
Given that the car already has a cup spoiler all it needs is the splitter putting back and it's got both cup packs fully fitted (making it a full-fat model).
