Turn off auto-volume changing at speed increase/decrease?

So, a novel idea back in 2005, but piss poorly executed. The standard HU and the thing where it increases the volume to counteract road noise.

Can it be turned off?

It's not smooth or linear in the slightest, the volume jumps are really noticeable, and if you're hovering around 50mph, then it just keeps going up and down in volume and it's irritating as f**k.

Yeah after you press expert button scroll through the options with the satellite wheel on the stalk , you'll see Bass , Treble etc ........ until it says " Loud , if yours says " on " then use the + or - on the front of the head unit to change it.

"Loud" is a setting that increases bass settings at low levels. I can't remember the speed related setting but you can turn it from zero to five from my memory.
