Various City Settings (Clio Pic Heavy)

Met up with @Ricardos yesterday to get some pics of the RB and LY. Wanted to try the city of London as it offers some variation and its not that far from us both, plus i wanted to use my camera more. We met in Beckton, and hit The Docklands, Helsinki Square, Hackney, and a few others and we stopped off for a cafe breakfast at the Regency Cafe :smile:

Thought i'd share the pics and im sure Richard will be along soon to add he's ones :smile:

It was a long day, it started at 5:30am meeting at Beckton and ended up in the Hackney Wick area around 3:30am. But boy we had a good time driving to various locations both sides of the Thames from E16 to SW1. It was an absolute pleasure being in Marks company all day, he's taken some fantastic photos that frankly I couldn't match. I'm just a point and shoot location person but Mark really puts in the effort as you all can see in the photos. It really was a good day, and for me a personal highlight was having probably the best full english breakfast at The Regency Cafe. It was on my to do list for a while.

It shows what a car club can do, aside of national and local meets and events you end up meeting individuals that become good friends. I hope you all enjoy the photos as much as we enjoyed taking them yesterday....

weirdly it think the RB suits the more cluttered environments (graffiti'd walls etc.) and the EDC the cleaner areas.......

The non metallic RB colour definitely suits the graffiti colours much better. LY is the stand out colour so the contrast is the material backgrounds such as concrete and glass or reflective materials.

I did a bit of internet research on the Hackney location, and obviously wanted to go to the cafe :wink:.... The rest we winged it

Really appreciate the kind comments, so lucky the Liquid Yellow came up for sale at the time..... It had to be done... Again I've owned an RB 182 which is also an amazing colour.

@Silent_Scone We had mentioned about it but I had done no homework whatsoever. I don't really know London and @Ricardos did a little research but as he said we just winged the rest.

The pics outside the rusty building was some car park that we saw and thought it would have a good backdrop. There was a security guard there and he was fine for us to be there, but 5mins before we went across the road and the security guard there didn't want us there.

Not at the time of morning we started 🙈 Canary Wharf was empty, driving over to Hackney was clear.... I wouldn't say there was loads of traffic, when we headed to SW1 near Parliament Sq along the embankment there were roadworks but to be fair there was no rush at any part of the day. It was nice to take in the sights as we headed from location to location.
