Which brakes and suspension for track days ?

Hi All,

Finally taken the plunge with a track car project - 172 Cup.

First off though, got a trip to the 'Ring planned for July, so want to sort brakes and suspension for that. Car will then be stripped, cage fitted, etc, towards the end of this year.

Done some research, but there's nothing like getting views from people who have "been there, done that", etc - any comments, advice, etc, would be appreciated - H&R coilovers seem high on the list - any thoughts, recommendations ?

Seen some comments on here that the GDI Wilwood brake kit isn't bad for the money, but is still a bit of a compromise, so was leaning towards AP/Brembo - anybody got any first hand experience, etc ?

I'd go for a set of H&R coilovers, and compbrake 4 pots well thats what i've bought for my 172.

id say look for some adjustable coilovers like LEDA, koni, ast, kw

Yeah you need adjustable for trackdays!!!!
