Work Bench Recommendations

Hi all,

Cleared out my garage recently. I am after 1 or 2 workbenches for general use but eventually intending to strip gearboxes/engines etc. on them so could do with them being heavy duty/not s**t. I would also like to mount a vice on them. Not fussed about shelving but a draw or good space underneath would be a bonus.

Any recommendations guys?

Yarp make your own if you've got the tools to do so.
I made myself a nice corner bench with one shelf underneath and a gap for a filing cabinet full of tools.

Also has a pillar drill, vice and grinder mounted to it.

I put up a bench in work, made from excess mdf and pine(?) 2x3.

I fastened it to the wall and floor so it's going nowhere. I'd happily do heavy duty work on it. It'll be cheaper than an off the shelf job and you can build it to suit your garage/needs.
