So two months after buying this off @Adeyspec I finally managed to get it home today.
If people have followed his work with it then they'll know how much time he's put it into it.
For those who haven't then the important bit is 150/150ish

Bought this mainly to get myself back into track days, and do it fairly cheaply. Plus it's a right laugh to drive as it's like a go kart and makes proper rally car noises!

I've already sourced a RS133 body kit for it, and I planned to fit that and then have it wrapped. However, after seeing it in the sun for the first time today, I actually really like the colour. Not sure I want to go to the expense of having the bodykit sprayed though, so I'm not sure what to do now.

  Twingo 133 Cup,
This will be quicker than my 133 lol. Just remember if you put the 133 kit on to figure in wheel spacers all round. I have some off the 133 orange seat belts and bench rear seat I will be selling if any interest to you.

Think it's currently got 20mm spacers on all round, would have to check.
Cheers mate, but there no rear seats in it currently and it'll probably stay like that 👍

I keep looking at 133s, do these tce motors make good power when tweaked then ?

I think you can squeeze more power out the turbo unit as you can with the 133.
Granted the chassis set up on 133 is set up out the box but if I recall a lot of the parts are transferable on the GT
@Adeyspec should be able to confirm though.

Could get the bodykit vinyl wrapped black or plastidipped. Think it'd look ok.

Edit - just seen you already said that, ha. Yeah I think I'd leave it too, nice colour that, arches look chunky enough.

Would love a go in this, I couldn't believe it was a 1.1 when I saw it blurting around blyton last year.

all these posts are really making me think i should of kept it

again

urgh lol

The pictures don't do it justice its like a dark metallic flame red in the flesh.

standard they are like a clio 172/pov spec clio hybrid in a shorter lighter chassis. The RS though it looks the same has some uprated and different style suspension and subframe, similar to all the later gen RS stuff, 197/200 vs a normal clio 3, megane 2 and 3 vs the base versions.

That said being very similar to a 172 (rear beam and built in arb/torsion bar are the same as a 172/182) same width as a 172 (this one now has 172 wishbones and arb with powerflex bushes too) itll handle like one (y) plus they are lighter from factory which helps. I think they are awesome little machines and so massively underrated. Bosh on some bigger front brakes (this has them) coilovers, 172 injectors and a remap and you are on to a budget blaster. This one just needs someone to invest a little into the engine side of things, bigger turbo, could get the cam reground for some extra lift maybe and it will be awesome. Needs to flow a little more and rev a little higher and the numbers will come (y) Its side by side with a 172/182, there isnt much in it at all until the big numbers come, it will push them fatty 197s along in a straight line no worries.

If i get back into trackdays and having a dedicated cheap car to do it in i will be getting another one of these

Looking forward to the updates though i am a little green eyed you now have it (y)

I think at Blyton the only time I had you was in the corners really, but that was down to the fact you had cheaper pads in it and normal road going tyres😂

DS1.11 and some semis and this will be fooking epic!

:ROFLMAO: it was on 2 old tr1s on the rear and 2 t1rs at the time and road pads yeah. As you said a few little things and itd be great, maybe a rear arb too. I was commuting it 26 miles each way at the time so wasn't actually built for track fun, great on a B road blast though.
