Did your splitter not have the ducting on it?
Not a terrible price either, I’ve been the guinea pig on the brake kit.

Well I don’t think any have 51mm ducting as they’re all a weird shape that’s not quite round..

Just an adaptor to take it from a sort of oval shape to a perfect 51mm hole, should channel a decent amount of air.

Checked the track wheels for fitment with the duct kit.

Got around to fitting my custom made door sills, I think they’re quite nice.

Cars now in the garage for the next week or so. Last two days have been absolutely non stop to get it ready before I’ve had to go back to work.

Snetterton on Thursday, will be good to see if I can get a new PB with the slightly more aggressive alignment.

Car weighs under 1500kg and under 1440kg without fuel. May see how much it’ll cost to lose another 40kg to get it into the 13’s for a car with all creature comforts - including front car mats, all carpets Air con and a CD changer..

Snetterton 300 - 4/6/20

Managed just shy of 100 laps of Snetterton on this outing, managed to beat my personal best 3 times over during the day.

Occasional downpour made it interesting with my slicks and I almost met the gravel once and had to adjust my line entering Williams onto the back straight due to it being slippery.

For a Javelin day it was run about as well as I expected. I had emailed twice leading up to the trackday to have a reserved garage next to my friends that had booked on. Upon arrival - I was about 8 garages away from them so some garage shuffling later and I was next to them.

On the plus side, they now provide free photography - which was a pleasant surprise and some of the photographs aren’t bad either!

Had a spate of 2:07 laps at around 15:30 and got held up by an MX5 going into Palmer. I think it would have been a 2:04-2:05 without the hold up but managed a 2:06 in the end. Just couldn’t get clear laps. A lot busier than I expected it to be..

Car is clearly capable of faster times, I think a possible 2:02-2:03 if I aligned the car to suit the slicks more.

Will be going back to Direzzas and running them over summer now and hopefully get a ring trip in or two.. that would be nice!

Just glad to have trackdays back.. good to let off some steam from working through it all.

May upload a lap to YouTube and I’ll link it later.

Guess it depends on the buyer. It's got proper bits, but modified cars always have a limited market. May be better to sell some of the juicy bits separately.

What's next then? This is going to take some beating!

:(

I'm guessing you have something else lined up? Would you not be better off breaking it?
I have a car that lined up, my dream car in fact.. if I can’t negotiate a price for it then I’ll keep this till October, get a 7:2X BTG in it. Return it to OEM+ and possibly use it over winter without the motorsport parts on it.

I can split the car down to any sort of package a new buyer wants as I kept all the original parts. Be a shame to see my hard work gone seeing as it performs so well.

Ive priced it pretty well I think, it’s by no means a bargain but I’ve saved someone thousands and about 120 man hours preparing it if it goes for this price.
