Just about to go back on this - had to move my X to a new home as it didn't like being wedged sideways under the TV.

Well if I can find a HDMI lead long enough to reach it's new home!!

Looks incredible, Driving physics feel a bit different as well compared to FH4

Sunk a lot of time into the previous just messing about. This shall tide me over til the next motorsport game comes out

A little slower but not bad at all considering it's a bigger map etc, I'm on a Series X though

Anyone playing it on PC yet? Downloaded today and it seems to be full of bugs. Car sounds keep dropping and stuttering when playing, the sound just doesn't work properly at all if you rev the car when doing tuning/upgrading or in forzavista, fell into an invisible hole in the middle of the road at one point, and it won't run full resolution (3440x1440p) without the edge of the screen flickering and going all pixelated.

Looks great when it works though 🤷‍♂️

Anyone know what the drift tyres/diff actually do, same goes for the Rally/race diff

Like how you get the choice of race gearboxes as well, Not sure why you need 10 gears though

Can see me loosing a lot of hours to this, so good and the first Horizon game I've really wanted to play

Oh and the Taycan is f**king rapid [emoji1787]

I had a few hours on it today. Pretty impressive, not really had any bugs except for messages saying I am disconnected from something.

favourite car so far is the Taycan. Shame the photo upload isn’t working on the forza hub

Been doing mostly off-road races in my new Defender through the jungle so far.

Put a load of hours into this since Friday. Loving it so far, getting the same disconnected message a few times not sure if it's a bug or my shite Internet 😂

The graphics are incredible but this is my 1st game on the series x so can't directly compare to FH4. Loving working through the stories and barn finds.
The taycan is ridiculous for high speed and drag races!

Yet to work out what all the drift tyres and diffs do, spent a good bit of time building cars up and can't really notice a difference.

I am really enjoying FH5.

If you are going to upgrade the car you will also need to tune it to get the most out of it. The tuning basically changes the handling and allows you to tweak he car to how you want it to handle.

Managed to get a series S console second hand on eBay yesterday for £185, the seller was 10 miles away and the console had only been used a few times. Downloaded the premium edition when I got home and played a few hours. There seem to be loads of series s consoles on eBay so click the auctions which are 'nearest to me' if you want to get yourself one quickly. The game is a lot of fun and a nice improvement on horizon 4.

There's been no shortage of the Series S, you can get them in looooads of shops (you could get a new one from Amazon next day for 250 quid)

Series X on the other hand you're paying scalping prices or getting lucky when a shop gets stock

Just seen a good article with videos comparing FH5 on various XBox models, the Series X, Series S, One X & One S, it seems that Playground has done an amazing job of making this look & play well on all generations, which is impressive.

The visual difference between the One S and the Series X on quality mode is significant, as you would expect, but it still looks good on the older consoles, which is handy as I've only got the One X and have this downloaded ready to go at midnight.

Looking forward to playing this via game pass on PC for £1, perfect 👍 If enjoy it and think I’ll play it after BF 2042 will get it purchased in Feb when my game pass runs out. Never played a Forza game before but always thought they where a kids arcade game but hoping I’m wrong as I’ve heard really good things about this!

Just sign up to email blasts for stock checks. The independent have a daily feed for stock checks, went through there when I got one at retail just had to sit in a queue on very website for 2 hours!

I know a couple of people who have been trying for ages, but just miss out every time and you can guarantee its mostly fcuking scalpers out for profit.

I'm in no rush, my One X will do for now until the Series X becomes more readily available.
