Looks great Nick. When weather gets better need another ride over to the motorist to catch up.

It's a shame the Renault day at the Motorist is so early in March - not sure if the weather will be good enough to get them out Jon.

I'll still go up for a good luck around (y)

Lovely day to get No63 out of the garage yesterday - gave her a quick polish and a little drive around the block.

Not seen her outside since I meet Jon(Brigsy) and Andy (Andyr1) last September

Also just fitted a Genuine rear Renault wiper arm - only things I’m not replacing is the number plates as there the ones it came with new - rear has never been removed in nearly 18yrs.

No63 is now finished finally - new splitter / fogs / badge all fitted tonight.

New plugs with gaskets / pollen filter / oil pressure switch / 02 sensor from my old manifold and a slight adjustment to the other one in the cat -

I can honestly say it now drives like a modern day car and is smoother than my JCW which says a lot.

If anyone is local or passing it would be awesome for someone to drive it and give me there opinion to back up my feelings on it - no wet days though ??

I’d love to change the plates however the rear one has never been removed in the cars 18yrs - I think that’s how the original exhausts hang but I will look into it -

Clio looks awesome now Nick, did you have it out today? Weather's been a bit peaky today and yesterday.

I've been meaning to pop over to get a drive in the JCW! Would be happy to give it a drive if you'd trust me. You can drive my rusty heap aswell if you want a completely different experience 🤣

Looks awesome mate, a real credit to you.
How are you finding the tyres? I had P Zero Neros on my previous 182 and felt they didn't inspire nearly as much confidence compared to PS3s. That was over winter though so perhaps they're better in the dry.

Yep had it finished tonight Louis - taken off the K-Tec splitter and replaced it with an original one.

JCW is always parked up at work so anytime - going to order the tuning box so I’ll let you know when it’s been fitted

Wheels got done last week - all 4 diamond cut - and new 330mm Brembo front discs with pads.

Probably take them off and put a set of PS3’s on it - it’s taken 2yrs to get the restoration done so not really driven it far yet.

I've just bought a Stable Mate for No63, Renault Megane RS265 - Demo plus 1 owner who has done only 11600 miles -

Unfortunatly it's not a Cup car and has got the Full Leather Electric / Memory / Heated seats not the Recaro's - so maybe on the hunt for a LSD gearbox and then paint / refurb the caplipers in Red ???

19s - electric folding mirrors - sat nav - upgraded 3d sound - Renault Sport Red design pack.

It really is a Minter which is what atracted me to buy it however it is going to the bodyshop for a full flat and buff.
