With the wiring only no, but the wiring was causing an "open circuit" permanent error , so they had a problem, probably passenger side from what i saw when i went to fix the connections.
But i had an issue with the clockspring which needed changing and i did change it, (it had one of the two...
Disregard my post above,
There is a bit of plastic (the other end) that is the support for this spring, there's no zip ties needed, it fits perfectly.
To put the spring there, i had to force the spring down, hold it with one ziptie (ziptie is strong asfu**) , then put it in place with the...
I ended up soldering up 1 connection on each side (1 was already tied up together on the passenger side, and i cleaned it up a bit and made it nice.
I only left out one connection on the passenger side which seems in good condition and has no cable...
I got the serv + airbag lights on as far as i can remember, managed to turn them off like 2y ago for a couple months by cleaning the contacts but they came back, went to a shop and they said it was the airbag module which i believe is expensive to replace... but the thing is, now that i...
Hijacking this thread... i got a different issue on mine;
The steel cable kind of bent that regulates the direction the air flows (speed is eletronic and hot&cold is the 2nd steel cable that's OK), idk if the manual wheel's did all the force for it to bent or if the manual wheels are damaged...
Installed a second light in the boot following a bit of a guide here (different because mine's a 3-door 04' ;
Was it worth it? I mean, in the process i fixed the grid that separates the cargo area to the front that i saw had a screw lose and was making too much noise and i thought that was...
I got a 04' dci ph2, how impossible would be to change the dashboard display from the digital one to the manual one?
I got this one and want to change it to this
Is it an impossible task while keeping the full funcionality? The layout of the pins on the back is different and won't fit.
Problem solved, pictures for future readers because i could not find this info anywhere online, got the part at a scrapeyard for 2€ because renault said it was discontinued and no stock was available. (it was 5€ at renault if it had stock apparently) . P/N confirmed: 8200700275
3 pics how it...
Thanks man, it looks a bit different from mine though, but i think i've found where the mount is supposed to be, it's on the left side of the pedal (behind the part that moves) and the pedal seems to have some kind of mount that can be seen on the beginning of the video.
I'm going to get a...
Thanks, just found it, here , unfortunately searching with that info etc on other sites also with P/N 8200700275 i have no idea where that fits.
Gonna try to look better on the pedals again tomorrow, i see no mount behind the pedal for that for a spring that supposedly is to make strenght to...
I'm trying to find where's the spot that the spring fits since it fell out while driving and i'm not seeing any clear spot where it was mounted, does some1 here have a dci that can check pls ? It's an 04'.
The spring is equal to this one:
Filmed a little video to see if someone can...
Hello guys, problem solved as @Brigsy said above, problem was the contacts between the pins.
Today i took the boot trim again, used a drill bit for sanding and sanded both ground terminals on each side to the metal, problem persisted the same, when taking out the driver's side ground with...
Sorry for being a noob but i opened up the car plug and cleaned and sprayed the best i could, problem is still unchanged on either plug even if i change the housing... if i take the lamps off the problem is not there.
Plug is f'ed? Or is it the housing?
I sprayed with eletrical cleaner, i even sanded the bulb holder pins, the car plug i used a screwdriver to clean them up a bit... apparently they're really dirty, i'll do it again thoroughly tomorrow.
Well, the pins looked good to me under daylight... Now one or two don't seem that good, but i don't think they're bad enough to cause all these problems... anyway, i'll check them again tomorrow...
If i take out all/some lights the problem goes away for the lights i take out, i changed one of the lights and plugged it in alone the problem was there, that means the problem is in the 2 housing connections right?
Is there any ground besides the 2 terminals on each side close to the lights?
I cleaned both sides (driver's side was a bit rusty) , clean all the lights the housing etc , sanded what i could and the problem still persists... i change the housing between sides and the same problem is there...
Hi, i need some help figuring out a problem.
Some time ago it started with the pedal on the breaks only, sometimes it would light up the fog light on the dashboard, but it would be a split second and gone.
Recently it happens anytime a light in the rear headlights comes on, it also flicks the...
Is the high beam the same lamp?
Are the conectors loose? Did you test connections with a multimeter?
You can just try to turn on the lights and manually try to connect the light and see if anything comes up, there has to be power there if a fuse didn't blow.
