I've ran 40psi with Rainsports just to they don't roll over a piss themselves. This is what I'm trying to achieve here, obviously not that high but I'll certainly be aiming higher than 30. Not to worried about tread temps as they've always been spot with the current set-up running various track...

Yeah only ran them 30psi hot as that's what I've always ran my semi's and slicks. I'll up them to 35psi like you say, and see how I get on. Camber is -3 all round so not to aggressive.

I've been dying to get my hands on a set of these given all the rave reviews, and claims of the 'fastest road legal semi slick on the market'. First impression when the tyres were delivered is they have very soft sidewalls for a semi slick, not much firmer than the Rainsport 5 XL's they...

Great weekend from start to finish. Big thank you to all the organisers, such a well ran event. Also got to put faces to user names, everyone we met were top guys. Track etiquette was spot on too, didn't get many pics but got lots of decent video chasing some very tasty cars around.

Sighting laps at 09:00, then there's a 15 minute novice only session, then its open pit lane. So get there for 9:30 and you'll be straight on track :LOL:

Are the gates to Blyton physically closed until 17:30 on Friday? I'll be arriving in Gainsborough around 3-4pm so will have a bit of a wait if so.

Weather looks glorious for this next weekend. Just need to find a way to get my slicks up there now, as my road wheels with A048's will be toast by dinner in 28 degree heat. Track temps will be scorching and not far off 40 degrees.

Old coils on the lower side of the range, new coils on the upper, as expected really old v new. Have a look into upgrading to a colder spark plug when fitting the new coil pack, you may get a benefit in performance.

PITA I know, but would it be possible to change my afternoon booking to a full day booking? If so what would be the additional cost? My pal I've booked on with may also want to do the same.

How big is the hole? If small enough just use metal putty, it should hold long enough to tell if the engine is toast or not. You just needs a 5L of oil then.

Me in the MR2 and my pal in his EP3 booked on for the PM track session and full ticket purchased for Saturday night festivities 🍻 Gonna try and get there around 11am to pitch the tent and get set-up before the PM briefing, then straight on track and after straight on the keg!

No mate, got mine for £100 a pair barely scrubbed in. I've also used the slicks and at £95 each new they are fantastic VFM. Only issue is that they are hard compound and no good in anything but hot conditions for my car being so light at 930kg.
