Car has been running fine for the last month, but I have had a few starting probs in the monring during the 1st week (wouldnt start first try, but would on the 2nd)
Have got a New TDC sensor + loom from Renault and has been running fine since, I have done 5k+ miles in heavy traffic...
I got the car back last night, and she seems to work fine, no problems last night or this morning.
The TB sensor, and accelerator position sensor were cleaned but didnt seem to make a difference, so te car was completly re-programmed.

Thank you for the reply, I have taken the car back to the garage tonight and I told them that the problem has back, they said it sounds like a temp sensor and will check it and also the throttle body sensor,
Should I ask them to the other sensors as well ? :

So Yet again another clio stalling post... I feel like I've read them all, but can't seem to pin point my problem, so any help would be very much appriciated.
A few weeks back my car stalled whilst slowing down for a junction, I thought nothing of it as the engine was...
I live in France (about an hour from lemans) and here the roads are empty rarely any traffic at all!!
On average I get 34 to 38 mpg out of a tank, this being said I have only had the car a few weeks BUT, I regularly drive to Paris for work so I took the Clio this time and on "total 98...
I get the feeling if these boxes are well looked after, i.e. Regular oil changes and properly warmed before high rpm gear changes, they will past the test of time...
Just a shame we can't say the same about the rattling plastics in the car .
I have done my gearbox oil change and there is no more noise :smiley::smiley:!! I was very surprised by the colour of the oil that drained out... really dark, almost black but its now sorted :wink:

The last service was done 8 months (9k miles) ago, I have ordered gearbox oil and will do a full service at the same time, the parts should arrive friday morning, so it looks like my afternoon is already planned.
