Re: My brakes are still s**t! HELP!
Did you allow them to bed in? You may have glazed the pad surface, do they squeal?
I havent had a look at the master cylinder on the 172 yet but make sure if there are any bleed nipples on it that you bleed those too
Hope you find a solution!
Put it on the diag machine today, came up with no stored fault codes unfortunately! Bloody ell! ;)
So the best option would be to clean or replace the coolant sensor??
Starter motor turns the engine over as it should. Im hooking it up to the diag machine tomorrow, see what that throws up and will update.
Any other avenues would be still be a great help tho
Cheers
Definately does not look right, should be tight against the bulkhead. Can you hear knocking when driving?
My advice would be to make sure the top mount nut is tight for a start and see if that cure the problem ;)
Hey all, recently acquired a ph2 172 - love the thing its a little beast. :)
However, after reading about my current problem on the forum, I replaced the TDC sensor but this hasnt solved it. Yes you guessed it, it starts badly when first starting in the morning and at random times throughout...
Hi Wolf, just wondering if you solved this problem?
Ive had the same problem and I have changed the crank sensor and no luck.
If anyone else knows which way to go after the crank sensor would appreciate it also! Bit stuck for ideas as it may get pricey!
