    AST 4100

Evening all, I’m going to get a set of 4100’s however I’m not sure what rating spring to get or even what options offer yet. The car is used for sprints & trackdays and I also use the car to get to track etc. Any advice would be great. Tom

    Goodwood Breakfast Club 4th Nov

Assuming weather is good I'll be popping along with @hazzamondo in my Abarth.

    What Clutch

Decisions decisions! I’m off an OEM Valeo unit for sure, although I blame my current failure on a non Valeo release bearing due to the OEM part being broken. @bloke would you steer me away from a unit with an uprated cover?

    What Clutch

Maybe stupid question but where do I get the cover from?

    What Clutch

Thanks all for the input. Have you another link as the one provided doesn't seem to work? I'm not sure TBH! Once its apart hopefully it will become apparent what the issue is. However I would put my money on the release bearing. I assume you mean the one I mentioned above. I just don't...

    What Clutch

Good Morning All, I'm about to get my gearbox rebuilt by @NorthloopCup however I'm unsure what clutch to run. I'll be running a gripper differ with a 4.53 FD and a lightened flywheel in a standard 182 Cup box. My current Valeo has died after around 1,000 miles (although hard use) but I...

    EPAS Conversion

    Project Inferno

No such luck now with the clutch gone! Although I'm still aiming to get the car up and running for 8th December 2018 for Rockingham.

    Project Inferno

How did you find Rockingham? Clio suited for it?

    2005 RB 182 Cup

I think so. I forget his name. Yeah he was second quickest overall which is mad! So so quick, I'll upload some more pics of his.

    2005 RB 182 Cup

Yeah its crazy that the clutch has gone, I'll be interested to see the clutch once its out as I assume its another Valeo issue. At least its the last sprint of the year, although I am booked onto Rockingham in December but if Clio isn't working I still have the Abarth! No turbo! Once/If diff is...

    2005 RB 182 Cup

Debden Sprint - Sunday 7th October 2018 I completed in a sprint even at Debden at the weekend which was amazing. Great course and well organised. Due to me arriving slightly late I didn't get a change to walk the course so the first two practice runs were done at a very slow pace. I then set...

    2005 RB 182 Cup

Do you have any issues with rubbing and 205 tyres? I had 205's on my Pro Race 1.2's and they rubbed like crazy. Again, did you have any issues with rubbing? Its been perfect to be honest. No issues with it what so ever. I did use the genuine 172 cup brackets which i think help it work with...

    2005 RB 182 Cup

I was thinking the same. Almost worth a buying a set as they are so cheap. Worse case I’ll just use them for track days. Are you running 205’s or 195’s?

    2005 RB 182 Cup

For what I paid yes I've been very pleased. I had an issue with my order and was delivered the wrong model twice then needed to collect from Rob in Southampton so got a good deal however I have the "road" compound (S2 IIRC) which are too hard for sprints but much better than anticipated. I...

    2005 RB 182 Cup

Yeah I'm really pleased with it overall, looks so much better in white IMO. Plus I wanted to do it as cheap as possible. The Abarth is amazing. Its just a fun car and makes you smile when driving. I've not gone above 4k rpm or put it under much load however it goes well, I would go as far to...

    2005 RB 182 Cup

So I had a bit of spare time on Saturday morning so I decided to remove the front section of cage and paint it. Overall I'm really pleased with the results. It took me around 4 hours, including a bit of waiting around etc and only £25ish in cost of paint. If I were to do it again I would have...

If you could take a pic that would be great. The last time I took my wheel off I thought it was all a little too open for my liking.

    Black Exhaust Tips

I may give it a go over the winter. This is part of my reason why I want to paint, mine get black so quickly. Just don’t want it to look odd.
