Hows the MPG then?
Other half was chatting to an owner of one last night in the petrol station, he says 13-15mpg is all he was getting!
He gave it full beans leaving, standard exhaust sounds fine!
Plenty of VAG specialists round fairly locally too - TotalVAG in Leighton, Inde-Tech and VAG Tech in MK that we've used / come recommended to us. I'd use any of those to give the car a once over versus using Audi!
They're time based servicing now (our Z4 has the same type system and was initially confusing when we looked at it because we were expecting the Oil > Insp 1 > Oil > Insp 2 routine).
Get's a bit difficult trying to figure what is due and when - there is a routine but it seems slightly less...
I remember giggling LOTS when i picked up my new Audi A3, felt so special being inside it.. audi interiors rock!
The clio will be a distant memory after 10 mins in the new one :)
We bought a car a few years ago now, bodywork was far from perfect but serviced religiously on the dot at main dealer, in fact every consumable was also changed at the main dealer.
That said, it wasn't in the same category as this one is, and this has moneypit written all over it..
Double disclaimer - this comment is made based on owning a Z4 with double level of traction control and an S2000 without any form of traction control. That said though the Z4 does feel more planted / just easier to play with when compared to the S2000.
Any form of RWD car with the power of...
We've had both - the Z4 simply is a car you get in and just drive hard and although less "raw" than an S2000 it is great fun. A much more accomplished all rounder if you wanted a two line summary.
In a bit more detail though, the S2000 is slightly more compromised - less predictable I would...
We were seeing 33mpg coming back during rush hour and stop start traffic, plus a bit of playing with it (as you do on your first proper drive back). Going round our playground of MK it is doing 26-28 I think, pretty much on a par with what we would see from a 182 when doing the same.
When...
Thanks :)
Yes the prefacelift versions have 231bhp whereas the facelift have 265bhp. Biggest noticeable difference for us is auto in the 330 versus manual in the Z, helps a lot!
Seats as I say are nice, will be even nicer once they're clean again - as expected being light seats they've got a...
A slightly out of the blue purchase, but hey the time was right as was the price too. So picked up this a few weeks back : 3.0Si with 41k on it, just serviced and new discs/pads too. Has a fairly rare Pearl Grey leather interior which we were initially not that sure about but have grown to like...
Re: Modernising the 182. New Renault Badge [Picture Heavy, Probably a waste of your t
All that effort in old badge removal and cleaning it up (which looked great), then you place the new badge in the wrong place!
Pretty much the same - honestly think the silver ones look so much better. But having seen the lights for sale on the Z4 forum can see why you're tempted!
