Lovely, cheers lads nice to have a bit of good news! The coilpack leads are possibly faulty as well, so another thing to check. First priority is getting the car up my drive, not just parked on the road down my hill, I'll be rescued by a tractor later! :p
Right, after yesterdays mishap with a random misfire and Clio based suicide, I've diagnosed the problem. The spark plug in cylinder 2 has popped out of the head, I just barely pulled and it came right out. The plug itself is fine, as is the thread (along with the other 3, all lovely) but when...
Good news!
Mr sparky had popped out of cylinder 2 and was just loose along with the coil lead. She doesn't seem to bite when attempting to screw back in, so I'm guessing the thread has been torn away and will need helicoiling/timeserting. But the good news is all plugs are intact, no damages...
Just got off the phone to my local specialist, I'll find a way of getting her down there tomorrow as he'll be 10x the person I'll be checking her over. This could be a cheap fix, or have me properly bent over.
Today was a f**king terrible day.
Started off with being ripped off by the DVLA, found out I've been overpaying for my phone contract for two months, and the car developed a misfire and tried to kill itself. I've just got back after breaking down at 10:45 this morning, breakdown didn't turn up...
Believe it or not I have actually read some of the stickies! :p
I need to get to grips with the above settings/features, I usually just point and click and then turn out pretty decent in my eyes.
Obviously though yes, the best way is to get out there, take some shots and ask for tips!
Outdoors, countryside so no street lighting (or scarce). Nothing fancy, just literally a good quality shot in the dark really.
Canon 750D standard 18-55mm kit lens. I haven't saved any, because they came out very very poor. But I'm still not really up to spec with exposure and ISO settings.
Failed to mention for shooting cars, flol! But that does apply above, as I can't shoot actual night style shots for the life of me either. But I was thinking what lighting equipment people have used/owned?
What are people doing in regards to poor lighting for shots? I'd love to get a few night shots done, but obviously I'd need some sort of contraption to give off enough light. Even in overcast conditions sometimes my photo's come out as if they've been taken on an iPhone, the noise is horrendous.
Don't quote me on it, but I'm sure they are.. @Sir_Dave will know!
We think very very much alike! I need a comparison/bit of inside information from some guys who've ran both cars.
That cheap? Christ. What are they like with that power?
I'm just after something that drives different and more power really, I've got the VTS which will run rings around the Clio at some point this year, so the Clio will get a little boring.
What do the LCR's go like in comparison to a 1*2? I'm toying with the next car being one, or an S3 225 model. I'm sure the LCR's are a fair whack cheaper than that Audi too.
Morette's are going to be sold, along with the Supersprint mid section and backbox, to fund a Saxsport exhaust system.
I've lost the love for the Morette's, and the Saxsport system has a mid silencer which will benefit me for track use, as the current system will 100% fail a decibel test for...
It is most certainly not pram heavy Aaron, some very steep slopes and steps all throughout the trails unfortunately. The added ice due to the weather doesn't help either, I'm not saying I slipped, but I'm not saying I didn't slip...
I agree with you there I think, I tried to vary the shots in...
So I popped out to visit this place near Brecon in Wales, turned out to have some fantastic scenery, most of which I just couldn't capture. For any of you that so happen to be near(ish), I urge you to check it out. As usual, I struggled with a couple of shots and I'm still getting to grips...
So MOT time is in the next few weeks, and the car has also been sprouting a few problems.
Driveshaft gaiter, a certain whine has occured, and the car is absolutely stinking due to our lovely Weather/roads.
