    Stefans 182 trophy #43

Alex... honest??? 😅😅 If you look up the word “Frank” in the dictionary, you find it says “See - Alex White” 🤣

    Stefans 182 trophy #43

Pleased with the quality? Could be used as a basis for a new system for me. I still have the OEM cat at the mo.

    The £295k Impreza....

I remember when literally every 22B on the planet was £25k 😂 Nothing special to drive either. £300k... bargain, put me down for 2 😁

    engine building

Yep. But more impressive ones in an engine cell. Some of which were: A V8 TD throw 2 rods and carry on running on the other 6. Most impressive gasoline failure was an I4 which let go at full rpm and ended up with 14 separate puncture holes in the block. Another favourite was an I3 which failed...

    engine building

My cells don’t as theyre ambient and I do mostly emissions, soot load and oil dilution. We have 3 full climatic wind tunnels that do similar to what you’re asking, but I couldn’t run one of those. Would bore me even more than what I do. They’re one vehicle, one test. I’m running 8 vehicles all...

    engine building

The dyno is set with road load data for the specific vehicle and the robots will then drive the vehicle according to whatever drive cycle we wish. The headwind fan matches the road speed and the coast down times and loads are set to match. Means we can simulate 1000s of km through city cycles or...

Petrol blue for sale on Facebook (if anyone is looking for one) NOT Mine

Looks a bit of a snotter to be honest. Any other colour and this wouldn’t even be a discussion. I know loads get a boner over petrol blue, but I must be the only one who doesn’t see the attraction. Each to their own I guess. 🤷🏽‍♂️🙂

Boot-lock not working off the remote (182)

When mine went a few years back I bought a replacement actuator motor from ebay and it’s been perfect ever since.

Frayz's Inferno 182 - Back in the old flame

Haha. Thanks guys, very humbling to hear. I do very much appreciate the kind words and comments. As said before, it’s no show queen and she’s “just a daily”. But I love it, I’ve still got lots I want to do with it and can’t see me parting company with it for a long time.

Haha, Some folk just have too much time on their hands. Thanks for the kind comments. I hope you find something in this nonsense some use. Thanks for reading. 🙂👍🏼

Frayz's Inferno 182 - Back in the old flame

I agree on the Fabspeed stuff, although I didn’t purchase them, I have to say their customer service has been outstanding. The titanium Remus however is lovely.

Likewise mate. I often found myself mesmerised by the great white Meg in my mirror. It looks absolutely superb on the road with so much presence.

Frayz's Inferno 182 - Back in the old flame

I looked at doing exactly this and concluded it would be more cost effective to sell and have a complete new setup made.

Frayz's Inferno 182 - Back in the old flame

Ha, exactly mate. The Cayman wears a full titanium Remus and Fabspeed headers. That little lot is around £5500. Some people appreciate high quality items and others don’t, and never will.

Frayz's Inferno 182 - Back in the old flame

Ha, Ha, full titanium would be lovely purely from a weight aspect, but the cost outweighs any benefit in my application really. If the Orbisoud sells I’ll be going back to Matt at Simpson Race Exhausts. Arguably you could buy another Clio for the cost of a Simpson system but the fit and finish...

Frayz's Inferno 182 - Back in the old flame

For the time being. There’s so much I like about the Orbisoud yet not enough for me to keep it. The money could be put towards me having something made that ticks all my boxes. The only other one currently for sale is a cup racer version with straight cut outlets at €1300.

Orb will probably be going up for sale if anyone’s genuinely interested. Sitting down? Price will be £850 firm.

Up at the crack of dawn to run 200 miles across Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk with some mates this morning including @MrBlonde @Ricardos and @Dr Jekyll. Wound up at Hunstanton for breakfast after a brilliant drive in the little Clio. Maybe this is more than just a daily? 😎

Roll Centre Kits - Honest reviews

The Northloop/Bridgecraft design uses the OEM hubs but the bottom pinch knuckle is machined and threaded internally. The ball joint extender is then threaded into the hub. The extender is also machined with a relief to take the pinch bolt. So it’s a belt and braces connection. Once fitted they...
