Some pics of the NorthloopCup / Bridgecraft setup.
For what it’s worth, my car has the following:
AST 5100 - 70/40
NLC roll centre kit
PMS topmounts & brace
Black polybushes on all front bushes inc steering rack.
Whiteline rear beam bushes
PMS 19mm rear ARB
PMS 10mm rear axle spacers
PMs 10mm...
Easily just for the machining on the parts, as I’m not sure you could make the kit for less. For me the improvement in how the car tracks over bumps and undulations was worth it alone.
If anything us road car guys get to enjoy the benefits daily. So arguably better value for money than someone...
I have a Northloop Cup kit.
For what its worth, my car was always built as a fast road car that will go to th track as opposed to a track car that gets used on the road.
Previously i had a 182FF on Cup dampers and Eibach springs and had driven the car in this guise for many years, sold it...
Just done the same, gutted top to bottom, ceiling down, new flooring etc.
German kitchen with Corian worktops, all new appliances blah blah. It wasnt £13k 🙈 :ROFLMAO:
So im, 4 days into the Orbisoud and was asked on the Trophy forum as to my thoughts vs the BTM. For what its worth, this was my response for anyone interested.
Sound I think is slightly better on the Orbisoud, It’s got a deeper more angry tone than the BTM. It’s certainly gotten better over the...
Unfortunately not as uncommon as we might think. Granted it’s a little league car, but I’ve said it a million times, I’ll never be on my deathbed wishing I’d driven my Porsche less.
Still, each to their own I guess, as long as you’re happy.
Or as you say, wear the damn thing every day and enjoy it.
Mk1 RS Focus have already sprung up, as have EVO 6s etc. Classic Imprezas now also rocketed up. Personally it’s very hard unless you have a crystal ball to choose an item for appreciating. The JDM stuff hitting 25 years to become US...
This is true, never going to be antiques road show money, well not in till you’re older than that previous old boy. But you could wear it daily and still make more than a Trophy lol.
You’ll pay big for a vintage one as it is now.
Buy a mens stainless sports Rolex, Submariner, GMT or Daytona.
Far greater investment than a Trophy and much simpler to store.
We’re a long time dead, buy whatever makes you happy and enjoy it. So if it appreciates, great, if not you’ve still enjoyed it.
Yeah i like it that way too. Just a pair of brushed finish straight cut outlets.
We shall see what happens though. Ive gone from an OEM cat & catback to a decat with centre silencer. So i need to make sure im happy first with whatever i do lol.
The probelm is, tyre performance is often subjective brake pads, what one likes, others hate.
People go crazy for DS2500s and i think thyre awful, likewise i think R888s and NS2Rs work pretty good in the wet (not standing water obviously) others hate them.
I've had great results on road and...
I use the Dewalt XR range Ash, have you looked at those?
Should be inbudget and like much of the other kit, all batteries carry over to the rest of the range :)
My favourite would be if I could get a genuine Cup Racer one as they had just dead straight cut outlets and I like the “no frills” motorsport look.
I imagine I’ll break the Clio Internet if I was to cut the outlets off a genuine Orbisoud system though. 😂
WZD has worn its BTM exhaust system for 8 years, and after removing it this morning, it’s practically as mint now as the day it was fitted.
The BTM has only been removed as I fancy a change and have been intrigued by the hype that’s always surrounded the Orbisoud system. I have to say I’m not a...
Big shout out to Tony @ VintagsUK for custom making me a pair of new decals. These are absolutely spot on and the silver decal is still an anti tamper VOID when removed.
Some might say expensive for what may be considered as just stickers but well worth replacing the damaged items and getting...
