Wow. It's so great to see Rockingham at least driveable again. It's an awesome place and like others I regret not doing a trackday of my own there, but I have driven it - at 15mph as a schoolkid in a Shell Eco Marathon car. Camping behind the pits and sitting in the stands at 6am watching the...
I don’t think BTC will ever crash that hard again, it’s too mainstream now and therefore there will always be a supply of people trading it, whereas before, when people got into it and it crashed everybody just buggered off and moved on leaving only a few diehards.
I agree that at the moment if...
Loving the new Pure, replacement for Sol. Takes some awesome screenshots, and decent performance out of it as well. P.S. the 2018 DTMs are so much fun to drive.
Managed to fix it. I think it was something to do with python. Whenever it crashed, it was loading apps.
Disabled CSP, that worked. Turned it back on, broken. Disabled python apps, that worked. Fired up IDLE and that seems to have cured it. Why I have no idea.
Had a nice relaxing cruise around LA Canyons last night, didn't get all the way around though.
Fired it up today to finish off, and Steam has apparently 'forgotten' that I have Assetto installed. Tried various things, reset my download cache, tried installing again in the same folder, it spends...
I think if they suspect it contains evidence of you breaking the law they can absolutely seize it, but I can't think of many situations where they think you've driven like a throbber but they don't have enough evidence to go off of anyway. Maybe if there's smoke pouring off the back tyres or...
I've tried shutting everything down in terms of utilities, unnecessary programs etc, haven't checked Event Viewer yet. Will try a few other steps, but my main issue is both the usual ctrl alt esc and Resource Monitor don't update quickly enough (yes I've changed it) to capture that spike, I was...
What do you folks do to identify an occasional stutter?
PC is decent spec (3070, 5800x) but every 30 seconds to a minute I get a single 0.2-0.3s stutter which I'm guessing is a background process doing something but I can't 'capture' it to find out what it is that's causing the stutter. Really...
They’re long but that’s because he’s actually doing stuff, I know what you mean though.
still a better build on peanuts than people manage on much bigger money.
I really don’t understand why Stav Tech doesn’t have more followers. His videos are a bit long but he knows a lot and he builds stuff which is frankly completely… different.
Take his current build. Mk1 MX5. With a Volvo boat engine in it, which is incidentally lighter than a K20 and will make...
Need to work in the motor trade according to the rules but I've seen people be fairly loose with it.
This is my one. £104 inc vat with trade card.
