    Bearings don't like being sat idle for long periods and I've seen plenty of genuine Renault timing belt kits with seal failure on the bearing as early as 18 months after replacement

    I'd be running a 172 cup set up on track is possible, takes the shitty auto tensioner out of the equation just to add I would do the timing belt every other year if it spends time sat idle for months through winter

    Different rollers give different results your set up would show 200 at EFI, RS Tunings rollers are perhaps a little stingey but a piece of paper saying 200+hp will maybe make you feel better but isn't going to make the car quicker. I would be targeting higher torque figures rather than bhp...

    Itch I never scratched the CRX, if only there was a time machine back to the Nineties, I bought my XR2i instead, the local salvage yard had a CRX, a Clio Valver and a rotten XR2I (all 6 years old) and I chose the ford, WHAT A BELLEND !

    Current MoT Fee is for a class 4 £54.85, yet the smaller one man garages charge on average £38 so there is plenty of scope to cover the cost by charging the recommended amount.
