Ordered a new housing and stereo
Mic for my Hero 2. Just finished drilling a hole in the case so its a nice snug fit... Will find out this afternoon if it improves wind noise etc...
Well hopefully this time Failsport will ignore the oldies in the 525 and not go through Rouen on the way back anyway and therefore not miss our ferry....
These are just a few i took on our 5 month tour we just got back from (still going through the 6000 i took...!)
To be honest I was taking more 'holiday snaps' rather than setting lots up and never bothered with my tripod!! So these aren't necessarily tecnically great - and my sensor/lens is in...

This is what I was talking about.
It also looks like cases have got cheaper for the Hero 2 so I'm going to get one to hack up and hopefully imprezaworks has had some success with...
My HD2 came with a white rubber tab that slots into the bit you pinch to release from the stick tab mounts so solve this exact problem - can probably get them in the bay.. Anti vibration rubber insert or something perhaps?
They're so intuitive to use - it might be worth buying a few hours of Genius Bar/Apple store lessons (can't remember its name!) to get to grips with the basics and learn some of the features. They also do a session on iMovie etc which could be useful!
Once you buy one you'll wonder why you ever...
That was my thought, as good as it probably is there must be cheaper that are fine - I think Polar Pro make gopro specific ones, hence the price tag (as with all GP stuff it seems!) would be nice to loose the slight 'man in a box' sound they have though as that let's them down...
I'd probably...
Has anyone experimented with an external microphone for the Hero 2? Seen a few recommendations for the polar pro but its £65!! A video I saw of it made a huge improvement with wind noise etc though...
Kenya?! Work? !
It's LM buddy. Excuses are nullified (unless you're Budgie.....) Tom made it down Friday night with one working leg last year after realising what a monumental error bailing was going to be...
(Although a work trip to Kenya sounds epic... Still don't know what bears actually...
About 60% through Real Racing 3...been brilliant for long flights and trains although hit a bit of a wall with earning gold. Haven't had to spend anything and don't intend to... Have to persevere..
Also a bit addicted to Shopping Cart Hero 3....
Like someone above said, it'd look good rotated to put the water at the bottom and the path at the top - I like that you can see the footpath to the right going over the ridges too.
(Pandapops were disgusting whoever changed that....)
I used my SLR then photoshop... Haven't looked to see if there's an iPhone app although I quite like the precision and being able to clone bits out so it looks right..
Took me ages to work out why I could get the file size small enough to upload.. turns out it was technically 150 square metres..... As above, its not a full 360 so excuse the badly cloned tree at the top.....
Panda.
(Ignore what I asked originally....)
Going travelling in 3 weeks for 6 months and am looking for different ways to take/use the photos I take... (rather than 6000 'normal' photos....)
Panda.
(edit: just tried it with a site panorama from a work job and it is that easy!!! Love it - an...
Cup next to me at the new lights in Kegworth last night (about 5:30)
Another Cup in Kegworth stanced on red rotas(?) - seen it quite a few times...
See a Bean going through Hathern/Dishley roundabout quite often,
Another blue 172 which looked bloody awful - white grille/bullets etc - on the...
