Because of the discount I currently get. For a Sky Silver package it's £32 a month more than what I am currently paying plus £6 less discount that he offered means I pay £26 a month extra. Just not sure its worth it, is it?

Sure enough as you said. The guy offered £60 upfront and £6 off the main package. This will mean I pay £28 a month more than I'm paying now. Is it worth that? Plus an 18 month commitment. Surely they will come down over the coming months.

Like Apple products whilst Sky Q is so new they won't negotiate mate. You can try but I don't think they can.

I did it by phone. They may offer you up to 35% off but stick to your guns and say no. They will try and try and try but they physically can't offer anymore than 35% so don't waste your time. If they ask why just tell them its unaffordable with regular price increases.
