Borg and beck ain't what they used to be, name is now part of first line. Wouldn't use one myself.

Will probably think of more but... Top nuts and hub nuts cracked off before wheels off the ground. Bumper, slam panel and headlight off first, gives you so much more room to work with. Shifter linkage off, split it at the pivot on the front arm that way shouldn't need adjusting when it goes...

it's not fuel pressure related, wouldn't waste your time even checking it. not sure if i've used my icarsoft on a phase 1 but it should still show lambda.

odd you can't see it in live data? does it list it or not even list it?

you need to see what lambda is doing though otherwise it's just guessing. bad lambda can cause few odd issues with them.

map reading is a bit high by the way even though it's in spec.

Do not block the breather off!!!!!!! It's the only way the engine breathes. Ecu doesn't go open loop straight away at wot so still worth checking lambda. Icarsoft will graph lambda ok, I use one myself for quick reads and graphing. Nothing will read fuel pressures as there isn't a sensor but...

good luck taking cam cover off and finding the plate!! it's not that. what's lambda doing on idle? what is map reading? how did you test injectors?

let it fill the inlet for a good few seconds before you start it and don't touch the throttle. you might have to adjust the flow of the gas a bit to get it to idle.

just pop the elbow off the airbox and see if it will run on gas.

could just be a lazy starter but the tippex sets alarm bells ringing!!!!

that's caught me out before when one of the terminals has pushed back in the plug, very easy to miss.
