This is what I also do with my R888's.

I will probably try a set of DS1.11 next then. I don't do many road miles now anyway, but it would be nice to keep the same brake pads in all the time for road and track use.

I currently run CL RC6 pads in my 172, I really like the brake pedal feel, and braking power, but would like to run a pad that is kinder to wheels/ bodywork. How do the CL RC5, and Ferodo DS1.11 compare? Or the other alternative I have is run DS2500 daily and then run CL RC6 pads for track...

Finally ordered some new rubber to go on my new silver 2118's, I went for a set of Yokohama Advan Neova AD08R. Having them fitted Friday afternoon.

I really like the 7R in silver.

Mileage isn't a issue on the F4R if regularly serviced. My 172 is now on 156k and the engine is running better than ever.
