Good question..
It didn't feel that much quicker at first, understandable as my 172 is totally stipped out and bloody rattley and noisy but now I can rev it out, and not worry about running it in it feels properly quick!
I gave the M2 a good clean over the weekend, which included a coat of Auto Finesse spirit wax, but the sun has gone in since.
And finally had the running in service done yesterday..
Only done around 70/80 miles since the RIS, and it's been pretty wet, but am very impressed, it's quick, and...
Who is your local BMW dealership Jason?
ATM the car is more of a weekend/ evening thing, as my daily is the Hilux, and my fiancé drives the Fabia vRS. But the M2 would make a great daily driver.
Hopefully just get some TF 'Ring laps if I take it over to the Nurburgring :)
Cheers Andy.
The 172 is already a sort of full on track car mate, as I have the Hilux, and Fabia VRS for daily duties. I plan on hopefully 'finishing' it which would consist of removing more weight adding...
No mate, I've had the Clio for 12 years now, and never plan on selling it. I still have quite a bit planned for it, including doing a lot more track days.
Knowsit Danny ;)
As above mate
Back in April, I ordered my manual mineral grey M2 (with most option boxes ticked). It arrived Friday afternoon. Only done around 200 miles but so far am very impressed, the exhaust sounds great for stock system too
A few pics, hopefully get some go pro footage in the week.
The F4R is a strong engine, and if looked after should go on and on. Once warm It gets driven very hard.
Cheers Mark, the offset is ET43...the same as my white, and anthracite set
Update:
The car is running well ATM (touches wood) and hit 158k the other week. The engine scare turned out to be a loose fuel rail guard lol. And the new crank sensor means it starts on the button again.
I will hopefully have the unsilenced PMS centre section refitted soon too :)

The above..
I bought my set up second hand, from a 172 cup that was being broken for around £100ish.
