Anybody who drives a Corsa VXR needs to evaluate their mothers drinking during pregnancy. Oh and of course their own comfort in their sexuality for letting a car define it. All IMO, of course. I like it Joey, considered one instead of my MK1 MX5. Wouldn't rule one out in the future.

I've been to CS meets in all of my cars inc a 1.2 Clio and Mazda 323F. Long as you enjoy it that's all that matters.

Pirelli Pzero Nero's are superb. About £100 a corner. I don't see the point in buying a performance orientated car then putting cheap rubber on it.

Just turn it off. On my 182 I've found the ESP pretty much lets you do what you want in the dry, in the wet it will kick in, its a bit clumsy when it does I find.

I've always used it. Can't remember how I first noticed it though, probably from my first day of driving when I got my 1.2.

Mine used to do that. I ignored it and it went away. Seriously.

If they do Pirelli PZero Nero's in 195 50 15 I'd definitely get some. Got four on my 182 two months ago and they're brilliant. Nice ride quality, not too loud, grip brilliantly in the wet and dry, progressive grip to slip. Best tyre's I've ever used. They won the Evo tyre test too.

I think I'll swap my front's with the rears when I've done about 7000 miles on them. I like to replace all four at once so that should give reasonably balanced wear. My dad managed to get 50,000 out of a set of bridestones on the rear of his fiesta. He drives very sedately though.

I've had a 3" thick sheet of ice/snow slide sideways off my car years ago. s**t myself at first didn't realise what it was.

I always run my 182 on Tesco 99. Used to run my ph1 172 on 95 though. Not sure how much difference it makes, just become habit to use 98+ now so I do.

I had a ktec "style" IK on my car for a bit. I took it off though as I was doing my head in with the roar. Bearing in mind I run a decatted exhaust system and that doesn't irritate me at all. Don't know why I didn't like the cone filter on the Clio. I loved the one on my MX5.

My serv and ESP light randomly comes on occasionally too. Cruise still works though. I just ignore it and it doesn't come back for ages. Sorted.

I've not had an issue in the 9 months I've had mine. Even when I've been pulled once too.

I love my PZero's. Had four fitted in November. Front's probably won't last long as I am pretty erm heavy on them but I think they're a great tyre for wet and dry grip, they go from grip to slip very progressively. Spot on tbh.

Funnily enough yesterday I had a brand new VXR Corsa sit right on my back bumper on a roundabout, I pulled about 2 car lengths through 2nd and 3rd on an uphill stretch of DC. Certainly wiped the smile off the VXR drivers face. When I slowed down a little as I caught up with traffic he...

I love Clio dci's. I've just never really needed one. Should have got one as a first car instead of my 1.2

I had a 172 at 19. Not a bad car for that age. I don't see why 1*2's are expensive to insure. They're idiot proof (awaits crashed my 182 thread from myself...)

Those HID's are horrific. Just get some xenon's off a 1*2 so they look good rather than just completely pikey. Have a look at some other non sports on here for some inspiration. Loads of good examples.

Nothing better than driving the first 1/4 of a mile at 7am in the morning with you exhaust popping and banging waking everybody up. It's a small sense of satisfaction I get whilst I'm tired, cold and often facing a 14.5 hour day in work.

The Laguna engine is only 165bhp anyway isn't it. If your going to put that much effort into a swap definitely do the 225 engine conversion.
