You may be better, as you say, going for the production class as you have similar power to weight to a 1*2 in that.
Problem you have is the shell for a mk3 is about 200kg heavier than a mk2 and basically you have the same engine so will always be at a disadvantage in the modified class. Unless...
I was specifically wondering about using the gauge rather than scales though.
Just wondering how practical they are on a normal car compared to a single seater which is much lighter.
Any one used one on a clio?
Looks like a much cheaper option that scales lol.
Especially if I did a home made job http://www.cobraclub.com/forum/general-tech-tips-questions/48628-home-made-corner-weight-gauge.html
I thought he said it'd been mapped though? If custom mapped in this configuration it should be fine. He would just need to keep the vvt on past 6800 and then have that part of the map adjusted to suit.
Glad it's all sorted pete. Bargain price too. The gears themselves never disengage. It is the synchros that do that. For damaged gears I expect something must have got in there.
What do you pay if you only get one race?
I have to agree with the test/review being pointless.
I've not seen 5th gear for a long time. Tiff has not aged well. He was like my Grandma trying to program the video when trying to engage a gear in the clio.
All the reviews say the clio is good apart from the gearbox, and it looks to me...
I don't know the details of how. But it was certainly done on mine and you could see the difference in the before and after graphs.
Before looking similar to yours with the drop around 6800.
Something like that or watchdog might be the best option. You guys who've all had problems should get together and send them a mail lol.
imprezaworks Hi ;)
Normally the only way the driver and co-driver can hear each other is with intercoms in their helmets. So unless you feed that into the camera mic you won't hear them.
