The OP has a Clio F4R with wilder cams compared to the F4RT. Josh has a tubular manifold compared to the restrictive LOG the OP has.......
Also nobody said they are a laggy turbo, just more lag compared to a 2860 which IS the turbo he would get better use from in his situation. I agree you can...
You need to ideally pick who is going to map the car then ask them what ECU they recommend or prefer to work with.
So many people find and ECU first then struggle to get it mapped at the place they want!
Like you say most people dont want to pay the premium so the dyno is used for medium to full load and then the light load done on the road leaning on the lambda a little more that you would usually like.
I have seen so many "tuners" come and go in the OBD market it's funny. They get sucked in...
I used to think like that too until i actually got my own dyno, you can literally steady state ALL load sites the car will drive in, make peak power at MBT (minimum best timing) without going near knock (in most cases). I find a lot of road mapped cars have FAR too much advance, some can be 5...
Have to disagree there chip. I had a GT3076 on the megane before the GTX3071 and the GTX flows much more at 1 bar. I made 366 at 1 bar on the 3076 and 390 on the 3071
Good luck with that one Josh!
Mine is "interesting" with 485hp on the 30, a GTX35 will be totally pointless unless you want a drag car. I actually have one here but after seeing the 3071 perform it's not going to be fitted.
At a guess this is the turbo you have:

If so then you are towards the end of the map anyway and it will not make more power. In a perfect world it can flow about 40lb which is...
Hope you all had a good day, it was a pleasure to host the dyno day!

Not driven it with that power, i just turned it back down to 1.6 bar 465hp. Earlier on today i managed to get grip on the road with 450hp and it's rather quick!
Hi Andy!
I need some road tyres, something like 595 RS-R's and would defo be intertested in the slicks as it will need them to get the power down now :)
