Off to a bad start today, lost my microphone already - properly gutted! Passed the noise test though so that's good news, just hoping I don't get black flagged throughout the day for the ITB's being too loud. Fingers crossed...

I wanted to put the mic above the exhaust, but as you can see it's absolutely soaking outside! Might get chance tomorrow, we'll see. Radiator runs much much cooler than the old one which is excellent. Coolant re-route to the back of the block is probably next on the cards.

Semi-productive day, Managed to get the big ass radiator fitted. And also fitted a VDO water temp gauge. Looks completely OEM thanks to the green illumination. Just running out of air vents now! lol Got a microphone for my GoPro, threw that in the engine bay: Bring on Oulton tomorrrow!

It's slightly quicker than a MK1 on Itb's with a terrible map and a hole in the exhaust. Slightly. In fact I don't recall there being any difference in performance at all TBH.

Thanks! Yeah, it's only a quick motorway drive to macclesfield so that's the road I've set it up for basically! Spent many an evening going up and down with the laptop on my passenger seat. IMO it's a better run than the Evo triangle, far more technical but nowhere near as long unfortunately.

I think the Raybrigs are as good as you're going to get. Don't get square ones as they just don't fit. Not without work anyway. Raybrigs are a massive improvement over crappy standard units; team them with some decent bulbs and you're onto a winner. That PPF brace is a no-go IMO. I ran it for a...
