With all the noise around GTA V getting a next gen update imminently, I'd be amazed if an RDR 2 next gen update would have gone under the radar? :unsure: A quick Google suggests it's full 4K HDR but 30fps on consoles, so these people are telling porkies it seems...

I assumed that would be the case and these will work a treat, you plug one in next to the router, plug the other one in next to the Hive, network cables to each device, sync the 2 plugs so they talk to each other, bingo. Passthrough means you can still use the socket to power something else...

This is a way to get internet between the Hive and the router without wifi, it uses your house mains wiring as a network, it's voodoo. I'm assuming your router is not conveniently next to your Hive and you were wanting to connect via wifi, well this is another option using wires. Something...

You want some homeplugs, basically networking over the mains wires, I've had them for years and they work well.

If we're talking XBox, get a 1TB XBox One S (white) model for about £100 used, that will do what you need. The 'OG' XBox One is the same sort of money second hand, but the S is newer, smaller, quieter, does 4K (not for games), etc.

If you're planning to use a controller, it will suck... badly...

Agreed, my PC, XBox, etc, have always hardwired, but the TV never needed it, until now... It can happily stream 4K TV & films, gaming is a lot more demanding though.
