I have pro race 1.2's with plastic spigot rings and melt a set every other time I used them on track. Some Clio's have worn threads in the hub and have this problem which I think you have. Go stud and nut or replace the wheel bolts and hub flanges.

If your playing with it loose I.e not attached to the engine it will do that. There is a tab at the back which needs to locate into the engine so it can operate correctly and be tensioned, check this when fitting and that its in the right hole.
Yeah I think that's what will happen Funk although the wheel specialists are needing £387 to do my wheels which have very little to no damage. I don't think they'll be getting my business.

It comes on the new blank piece mate but tbh I have never replaced them on the ones I have done as they have all been in good condition, if your worried just use a dab of thread seal from the likes of loctite.
Nope but my car needs custom shafts for the cup racer suspension/hubs and drivetec are the cheapest going, Andy used them on his grey vag turbo I remember.
Good vid..... I just got the chance to watch this, your car pulls stupidly good in 4th out of the corners. It must be fairly high geared.
Changing to 3rd at the bottom of Duffus will get the car turning around the front more and allow a wider entry for better exit, can be too much to do at once...
As you say the cam seals. The megane 225 crankshaft pulley bolt is the same and its a non stretch bolt if you want to upgrade.
I do the exhaust camshaft nut as its recomended in workshop manuals I have read and only about £3. I would potentially do or be prepared to do the crank seal or oil...

I made a start today on the airbag repair. First of all I pulled the head liner.
The damage caused to the headliner.
Repaired that.
Whipped out the airbag.
Replaced with like for like airbag.
Thoroughly cleaned the headliner and put everything...

Yeah I think your right. I'm not even sure UR side strips, gun metal wheels and black mirrors would go if I was to paint. The black highlights are growing on me. Its what the general public think though.
The roof lining is grand mate, its just the bag wrinkling it. Straightened most of it out...
What's people's thoughts on the wheel colour? I'm going to have they refurbed as tbh they're annoying me and letting down a really good car.
