If your playing with it loose I.e not attached to the engine it will do that. There is a tab at the back which needs to locate into the engine so it can operate correctly and be tensioned, check this when fitting and that its in the right hole.

Nope but my car needs custom shafts for the cup racer suspension/hubs and drivetec are the cheapest going, Andy used them on his grey vag turbo I remember.

Phone Drivetec (I think its drivetec, if Andy could confirm again as I need some soon) Wayne, circa £110 for each shaft and they're full recon.

Compression test then timing check should flag up something. Swap the coil pack for a known one before but I can't see that being the problem.

Good vid..... I just got the chance to watch this, your car pulls stupidly good in 4th out of the corners. It must be fairly high geared. Changing to 3rd at the bottom of Duffus will get the car turning around the front more and allow a wider entry for better exit, can be too much to do at once...
