This is for the misses 182, not the trophy track car.
We have 4 wiring plugs coming through the steering wheel, 2 are self explanatory being colour coded to the air bag.
but we also have this one, which I daftly broke when changing the steering wheel over...
am I right in thinking this is...
They do sell direct to customers aswell, and jay is a top chap.
sponsors a couple of friends in TA with all Motul products.

Ring Pace Products and ask to speak to Jay (Jason Lavender)
gladly say I sent you his way.
Pace are the UK importer for Motul products, so anywhere you find Motul items it would have come through them first anyhow.
Re: My arse end
It looks nice and a clean example, but personally I think I'd loose the ring sticker or atleast reposition it as it looks a bit lot up there.
and loose the luticia badge and refit a clio one, looks a bit odd with a random name on there like that.
PS: your number plate is wonky ;)
I had the exact same on a 2.5 V6 Super Toutibg Vectra about 10 years ago.
i was amazed to see the head of the valve snapped off and jammed sideways just like yours.
i just sourced a replacement head and refitted, job done and back on the road a week later.
Actually, I have seen another Trophy floating about a couple of time.
what are you trying to do to the car, all easy stuff?
Jack helping out I assume?
i shall keep my eyes peeled for a meg at some point aswell, especially if a random woman is behind the wheel and suddenly waves ;)
Yeah I keep spotting you all the time now aswell.
whats happening with the R26 you mentioned?
you wouldn't have seen the trophy, its a dedicated track car and not legal, its tucked out of the way at my unit in Copthorne, and currently having a new engine fitted after it chucked a rod at Bedford...
I like the way my brakes feel on track, just want the ABS part of it to be removed, and in addition more engine bay space.
Chip, is it a 172 Cup master cylinder I need to get, or can I use the 182 Trophy item?
I have a starett hole cutting kit, you can do varying sized holes wherever you wish.
all I will say is that if you do go for it then buy the swaging tool so you can fold the edges in after you do it to regain some of the panels strength.
Bin them I guess.
as said mate, I don't know what needs to be removed or kept :(
do I keep my current master cylinder or do I need to change over to a cup variant?
Phil, with the DCi rack, do you have to match it to the make you had previously, ie: SMI cup rack for an SMI DCi rack?
im looking at my factory rack and I have no indication if its SMI or the other, there is no sticker on it, I assume it has disappeared over the years.
no other markings on the...
Cheers Martin, it was pretty rotten before we started, luckily it was just a collection of several miles of grime building up, and the majority of it came off with ease.
atleat its clean to work on now :)
Is this really needed, should you not be watching the road instead of your head unit?
surely you should know what music is on the iPod/USB stick etc as you would have put it on there!!
Len, I'm thinking if the brake lines are easy to manipulate then the state of them after being posted from holland could be disastrous, and to be honest I want the car usable again ASAP as the next trackday is only 3 weeks away.
id do the lines myself, but I haven't a clue what is supposed to...
Mike, I haven't touched the block since, but I will let you know.
you don't fancy coming over and doing the brake lines do you?
or, if I loaded the car up and dropped it to you Saturday, how long would you need it for to do the lines?
wilwood parts I can source easily if you can't find yours...
Thanks buddy, I shall give him a shout tomorrow and see what he has available.
obviously I will replace it as soon as possible.
i have oodles of P clips, I borrowed a few bags from work, each bag as a quantity of 100 and I'm sure they are bags of 4mm, 7mm, 9mm & 12.8mm.
being tarty never hurts ;)
I want to get rid of the ABS aswell James, just not sure I've got time to sart running complete new brake lines, nor am i 100% certain what parts i need to source in order to do so.
new engine won't be going in until Monday/Tuesday so it gives me time so get new rack mounts, tidy up the new...
