Engine Fitted. Still missing lots of bits and need some tidying up. Would say about 70% done. The throttle bodies are not correctly fitted due to it being the old manifold so not having the locating holes.
Carl
did think that, was going to send it away to get it Zircotec coated like that one on my FRS but ive ran out of time. May get my spare one coated :)

Looking at replacing the standard renault carpet heatshield/soundproofing which is attached behind the exhaust manifold with some nice metallic stuff. I have completely forgotten the name of the stuff which most people use. Its metallic and patterned.

Ah nice one. He said he shortened the stroke so they are abit more durable. Just been Reading your thread. How do you get so much camber? Curreently got the ast top mounts but do you use camber bolts aswell?
Thanks
carl
haha yeah i have been speaking to Curtis, they have been re-built now and should have them on friday.
Curtis has really got his act together in terms of customer service, he has been excellent and would recommend him to anyone.
What were you getting done at AST like Burp?
Carl
nope, does look like it tho.
Sideways through an oilseed rape field at 80/90mph, must have hit a big rock as it damaged two wheels and collapsed one of the coilovers :dapprove:
Carl

Craig 100% promises me that it will be delivered this weekend. If not i think ill get whatever hes done back and finish it myself.

Hi Lee,
That was Bazzon who went into the field aswell as him fitting the wheels (i made him for crashing )
Any damage to your car mate?
Its a shame we werent out on track at the same time, would have been nice to have a play :D I had an epic session against a couple of evo's who were...
Diff is probably the best bit about the car imo.
The difference is staggering and you really notice it on track. I actually get a lot of people comming over commenting asking if i have a diff fitted due to how well it pulls out of corners.
Carl
:lolup::lolup::lolup:
Funny you should mention that.
Its running AST coilovers with re-valved rear shocks with stiffer springs.
But....it now requires the front re-valving and re-building after Bazzon managed to spin out on the esses and the front passenger side has given up.
