You watched him do it, then came on to ClioSport lol?
Ring his doorbell and let him know you don't want his snow and shovel it back. Unless he's "one of those" and will damage your cars/property/life with mindless sad neighbours from hell behaviour
Like the whiteboard idea and lol at the engine stand.. reminds me of my other rented garage.
@cstarby I've just remembered why I didn't go for your floor tiles... how does it deal with jacking cars up and axel stands etc? Would hate to leave a car on stands long term and the floor to be ruined...
Another idea... use your spare floor tiles for the walls where the doors will open, or alternatively I used to off cuts of new thick carpet !
I like the floor... mine has just been built and I planned to paint the floor but no matter what paint will always come off eventually :(
Where did you...
@MrBlonde tag me once you've done this as I'm in the same boat, apart from my wires aren't chopped lol. Mine have adaptors added on too some Pioneer speakers but they aren't upto much.
I was searching for some Cabasse 182 speakers but will wait to see if you notice an improvement
As I said earlier, car looked fantastic today mate, it's refreshing to see such a clean one for a change..:cool:
I'll help your thread and post some mid bullet swap pics 🙈
Good work making this one mechanically sound. It will drive lovely after all those bits refreshed.
I need to finish mine off with the wishbones and ARB bushes and probably the rack too. Any tips on the bushes? Everyone says they are a nightmare (including you) lol.
Also... nice workshop you...
Google proved difficult to find a photo @Alex__ but you can sort of see one of them in this pic below.. courtesy of the arrow man
Without them the radiator just flaps around
If you look out on eBay or similar for very late spec Clio's breaking (the MK2's with the smooth boot and bumper number plate recess), they have smooth bullets from factory. I picked some up for spare change not long ago, then the decals are available from n2graphix or whatever they are called...
Just remember they are all getting very tired now. Suspension, running gear, every rubber mount will be worn to bits, exhausts usually are all knackered or poorly fitted, then some decent tyres, belts, worn out interior and trims and the cosmetic lights/paintwork/wheels and so on. Add 12 months...
MK1 Clio 16v or a Williams 1... I kick myself everytime I think about them for not buying the ones I was offered. Very rare cars now and lean more towards your old 205 GTi ?
However if you don't fancy a project, then just go with a 172 Cup. Almost standard examples pop up quite often and are...
Loving this one... ! Looks on point with silver willy wheels
My friends old '93 MK1 16v was the reason I joined the forum all those years ago, fantastic car
