That was my first thought once fitted, I love the back more than the rest now. Was such a b*tch to fit though and it needs to come off again :o
Cheers! It could go lower on the front quite Abit but I don't want scrubbing issues on the front and my halfords scissor jack only just fits under hahaha
Not really updated my progress in a while but here goes.
The car had a quick clean today so I thought I'd show her off! Ill start off with the small bits I've done, after having a couple of minor bits nicked such as the stubby Aerial and the front badge.
a good upgrade for the front badge was...
Thanks a lot mate but I'll give it a miss as I got it to fit without them!
the good news is the spoiler came to day and the brake light works so just needs a lick of paint.
Managed to get it for 60 posted! All screw holes are fine so fitting shouldn't be a problem so it will just need painting which will have to wait for the time being
Cheers for the quick reply! It's wrapped in carbon fibre which I'll redo for the time being if I get it as I'm ment to be saving for a holiday but it can't be helped hahaha! He's not sure whether the brake light works as he never saw it work but it's rather cheap :p
I'm looking at buying a cup spoiler but the seller says there are some white clips broken on the bottom? Are these required to fix the spoiler firmly or will it cause problems?
He describes them as the popper clips which are commonly found on door cards etc
thanks
Depends on your budget and how involved you want to get really. I'm no expert but from what I use on a black car these would be suggestions of what I use/used
wash mitt - £10 from halfords
2 buckets
drying towel
shampoo, autofinesse lather or hubikote are my favourites
iron x for bodywork -...
ag interior cleaner was the first product that came to mind haha!
thanks for the input dan, I started it the other day soaking it Abit and removed most of the excess moisture using paper towels leaving a damp seat. I've given it another quick go today as it seemed like the muck had raised...
I'm currently diluting it on a 1:2 ratio, and just using the cleaner cloths and paper towels to soak up the mucky water coming out as I sadly don't have a wet vac or access to one.
I was intending on getting a valet company to come and do it but tight on money at the moment so thought id...
I've been cleaning my drivers seat which was caked in filth and water mark stains etc due to me in my workwear, however I've been using af verso diluted to clean them which I've had good progress.
Its taking a few hits of verso probably because of how dirty it is and the ingrained muck raising...
I can imagine spray shop are spot on seeing there work on advertising vehicles but are on the rather pricey side, I have used 24hours or free which is near the football ground and seem reasonable
Call up to spinksy's Saturday instead and I'll come for the rendezvous ;)
Spinksy did it only come with one set again? Old owners must have binned there originals and kept the same? If it ain't rubbing it ain't dubbing hahahaha! I still haven't sorted mine yet :(
I can't take mine off as I don't have my original wheel bolts no more :( I looked into buying one but I'm not brave enough with the paintwork side of things!
Good of luck though :)
