100deg..!! mine used to run 115-120 with a cooler in the Mk1.!!

Thinking that myself so may have to go 182 manifold (although im not sure if the 172 is that bad and given its 2 peice a lot easier to adjust.!!

Thanks Chip the F4R head (exhaust face) seems to be parallel to the centerline of the engine where as the F7R seem to be at an angle, obviously the Exhaust flange will need welding at the same angle which is the tricky bit.....!!! need to try and find this out i guess.

Sounds like the engines running OK!

Because you have used rubber pipes. Need to use PTFE lines pipes and proper fittings to stop the smell.

I have some brand AP new bells and bracket that fit direct just need some 295mm discs (hispec do some cheaper versions) and AP 5100 calipers. Fits under 15 inch rim best brakes you can get at this size and what I have on the rally car.

Things do come loose on the front easily, hub uniballs / extender pins are a bugger for slackening off. Be interesting what you find.

Was a brand new pump and spring.

I will ask Mossy and get the facts but its not way less than 750 KG I would work on 250 power to weight which is no problem for a clio.

Not really that much more than what people here are spending here tbh and a smidge over 200 bhp. The same guy who built the engine used to run the pink clio unfortunately he's past away now. Mossy is a good driver.

Should have gone for a watch, seems Mossys 1600 Saxo showed the clios up. I said 2 secs a lap at Mallory and now 3 secs at Oulton, the clio boys need to step it up.:o

So a 1600 can do mallory in low 50s.......i wasnt making it up. Weight is the big factor as there car are sub 800kgs in some cases....

Mine was 3bar hot 100deg at 4k with a new spring from France (few ex work guys i know who run private firms where i used to get my bits from) runs at 5-6bar under same conditions, using Millers 10/40. The spec for the Group A Clios was 5bar at 5k i think or something like that but run thinner...
