Did you get spreader plates or platforms? There doesn't look much room for platforms.

If its a speedo drive there is a large black sensor pointing diagonally to the bulkhead at the rhs of the box. It should have metal heat shield round it. If it doesnt have this then it not.

I thought all bolt in cages came with platforms to spread the load. The floor is thin gauge steel so wont do much to hold it in place in a crash.

Why not run a vag engine with an o2m box? Same bother different jockey and one comes with a diff already installed.

Ahh, when I had mine I never had any of the boost pipework and couldn't see anywhere on the inlet manifold it could go.

What do you get for £400? Flywheel, mounts, box, hydraulics lsd and gear linkage? The RS box will have the diff and box for about £450. The rest I don't know but seems a good box for the intended purpose. As long as it would work with similar mods to the o2m.
