There would be a lot more to think about than just drive shaft such as mounts, wiring, manifolds, etc. it's an idea but a lot work.
Clutch is not an issue, just the flywheel would have to be custom.

Spoke to Scoff who is having a similar issue with his test bus so seems it is quite common.

Yeah, on my back on the drive with the car on axle stands. I hand holding the bolts head with a ring spanner and the other using the 1/4" ratchet, extension and flexi joint. Footery but doable.
Spot on though, 182 setup is 100X easiers for sure.
Mechanicals pretty much all done but having some issues with the wiring that hasn't been touched since it was running last. Just back from holiday today so will get on it over the weekend.

You can and I have quite a few times as I've said. Impact gun went no where near it.
The hard part is trying to refit it rather than remove it but still doable.
