@NorthloopCup many thanks for the reply, I am defiantly erring towards the AST's atm. Remember you mentioning on my last post regarding spring rates was to go for 100nm front/ 100-110nm rears?
Hi all
At the end Of this month, I will be in the position to buy some new suspension for my 182 track car.
I am looking at the AST 5100 coilovers or the Pure Motorsport Bilstein B14 kit http://www.pure-motorsport.co.uk/pure-motorsport-bilstein-full-coilover-kit-clio-2rs.html
The AST have a...
Cadwell Park yesterday with my dad in his Clio 182 as mine wasn't ready[emoji107]
First time there, and what a brilliant track. IMO Snetterton is a power circuit and some what forgiving but Cadwell is defiantly a drivers circuit with errors potentially being expensive!
Cadwell showed the lack...
Looking forward to seeing what it's like[emoji106]
Downside is though the rack is getting delivered tomorrow so I don't think I'll be able to test it at Cadwell on Friday[emoji29]

Clio in the garage as issues with power steering, changed the pump but still bubbling like a good'un so looks like the valves in the rack itself are buggered!
On top of that, trailer sidelights are not working again. Went in to indespension, replaced plug said it's fixed hitched up and still...

Good write up Tom, I have the powerflex black exhaust hangers on mine but you would probably be better with the red ones.
I was surprised when the noise test came back as 99db for me, Its normally about 89db for me!
Have you got a video of me going past on the Bentley Straight? :P

Hi all
Looking at getting a pair of wheel bearings for the new hubs I have bought which the @NorthloopCup roll centre correction kit.
They are trophy hubs and with a search the part no. is
77 01 206 771
Can anybody confirm this is correct as the cup/ trophy bearings are bigger than non-cup...
Bump on this thread.
My gearbox is getting pulled apart to replace the selector seal shortly, and I am also looking at the shorter 5th gear or gripper final drive (13/59 or 14/60).
What would would be the recommendation?
Ah not good!
I have these Pure-Motorsport ones http://www.pure-motorsport.co.uk/clio-2-rs182/clio-2-rs182-wheelsbrakes/motorsport-spec-bullet-tipped-screw-in-m12-stud-conversion-kit-with-steel-nuts.html
Congrats on the new job!
I noticed while searching that BigAsh had a metal power steering reservoir, do you know where I could get one of these? I take it with a bigger reservoir, the larger capacity will help with temperatures aswell?
Hi Tom
Good to meet you too bud.
I didn't have much time either :(
Was you on a cool down lap when came past on the Bentley Straight?
Hopefully another time can have a play!
@NorthloopCup would either of these be suitable?

If you could send over torque figures, that would be great :)
Evening session last night at Snetterton making sure oil cooler didn't leak from the sandwich plate, which it didn't:up: weather was spot on yesterday so kept the direzzas on. Took out a chap who has a race-prepped E46 M3 for some passenger laps, who I think was quite impressed with the grip...
So that's the @NorthloopCup bump steer/ roll centre correction hubs bought to be fitted to the Clio on 22nd September :)
New sticker fitted to the windscreen :P
I'll hopefully be buying the bump steer/ roll centre kit which is for sale on here shortly, and Clio is also booked in at JRD-norwich who are a gearbox specialist to replace the selector seal so after the track evening at Snetterton on 16th August and Cadwell on 1st September thatll be going in...
Looking good Tom!
I have the PMS shifter fitted to mine, lovely piece of kit! I have a ph1 airbox waiting to be fitted to mine, is it a improvement over the ph2 airbox?
See you on the 16th:cool:
