Sold a racetech oil temp gauge Monday so had a few quid to spend. Decided to get some coolant and power steering fluid:up:
Don't think I posted any pictures of the oil cooler which had now been fitted with thermostatic plate
Yes, Redline MTL or MT-90 is very good stuff. Recommended is 75w-80 (Redline MTL). I've gone for MT-90 (75w-90) to be slightly thicker at operation temp on track.
Make sure it's GL4 rated aswell as I believe GL5 is not good for the gearbox.
Cheers bud, have sent you a PM.
Cheers bud, the hard part is the drive on the road. This lasts app. 45mins. It's the same as if you were to do your car test again I.e. Mirror signal manevour, look over shoulders when pulling away, Mirrors when speed zones changes etc. You also have the...

I have the Clio 182 cup control suspension (Spax, 750lb front/ 450lb rears) currently got mine set halfway Front and rear.
Would it be better to set the rears to full stuff aswell?
Don't really want toe-in on FWD track car, as you accelerate the wheels pull in towards each other. This will also effect turn in slightly as the wheels will be fighting against each other.
Pure Motorsport stud kit to be replaced the crap studs I had fitted to the car which somehow cross-threaded 3 studs on one wheel and 2 on another wheel:openmouth:
This is the dyno printout for my dads Clio 182 at Clive Atthowes in Norwich
Millers NanoDrive for the Clio engine, Millers Trident for the Volvo and RedLine MTL for the Clio Gearbox
Got a 13 Row Mocal oil cooler coming which have brought from Forum Member f0xy
TBH standard discs or Brembo HC discs with uprated pads and fluids is all you need for a track car.
I have standard discs with Carbon Lorraine pads and Motul RBF600 fluid. Not had any brake fade and spot on.
No the filler point wouldn't come out so as the redline comes in 1 US quart bottles (0.946 litres) and the pump bottle is a 1 litre capacity so put in 3 bottle.
Update
When the car was in at Autotest, the alignment was done wrong so they picked it up sorted it and dropped it off all for free!!
Front: -2.5" camber, 3" castor, 5mins toe-out both sides
Rear: -1.5" camber, zero toe.
Have also ordered oils for next change, so again gone for the Millers...
