Redline MTL 75w-80.
To fill mine, I got a 1ltr pump bottle from machine mart and filled the gearbox via the breather beneath the airbox instead of having to lie on the floor filling it.
Many thanks NorthloopCup:cool:
I see on Kam Racing they have a race spec spring rate of 110nm/ 120nm or Trackday speck of 455lb front and rear.
What would you recommend?
As far as I'm aware, there not the same as the RSX kit.
I've driven them once on the road for about 10mins and it was ridiculously hard. Would not recommend them on the road!
Many thanks :) It was the 5100 I am looking at getting. The Spax ones are 750lb fr/ 450lb rr springs, I think the 5100 are 455lb fr/rr springs as standard?
Hi all
I currently have the Spax coilover kit designed for the 750mc 182 cup series on my track only 182
http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=4776&appid=2
I am however looking at the AST 5100 series coilovers.
Is it worth changing or just keep what I have got?
Cheers
Josh
So I had a look at the welding completed and looks spot on! The welder had managed to cut some metal to the shape of the gaps and welded into plae, can't fault it at all. How it should have been when it was built originally.
Also some picture of the wishbones and shifter
Don't...
So small update
Clio went into AutoTest in Norwich yesterday to do a bit of welding on the cage feet plate on the rear drivers side as didn't look right to me!:nomouth:
I also had the PMS adjustable wishbones/ PMS stubaxles/ PMS shifter aswell:tongueout:
Will get some photos up shortly:cool:
Sounds good bud!
I fitted the powerflex exhaust bushes on mine, easy job to do.
I think the 182 takes the speed from the ABS ring on the rear, so might be worth looking there.
Looking good Tony? How is the abdomen post hernia op?
Just a quick question, have you strengthened the rear beam at all? As I'm running full coilovers, would it be advisable to do this?
Many thanks bud:up:
I do find them very good and can keep pushing them with no fade but like yourself if do press too hard on the brake pedal they do make you lock up quickly!
During the build of my Clio, it's got pattern part wishbones which aren't always the greatest and atm I have 2' caster on one side and 2.5' caster on the other. So hopefully with these ones, I should get back to the standard caster of 3.5' or slightly more?
They do two types, these ones are the ones looking at http://www.pure-motorsport.co.uk/details.php?itemid=257&model=6 which don't require Laguna hubs as it's OEM Clio wishbones.
The other ones, these ones http://www.pure-motorsport.co.uk/details.php?itemid=248&model=6 are the ones which require...
