Hang about I'm a balding man with knitted cardigans, not sweatshirts and I love the whole Retro car movement of taking something from my youth and giving it a modern twist, having said that I get loads of people coming up to me at Classic Car shows to tell me how I've ruined my Elf by giving it...
I saw a pic of it last night on my son's mates facebook page who is the owner of the clean Mk 1 Polo on the Retro Cars stand. He was shocked that it actually went round without anything falling off. Suffice to say it was on a Cruise stand. Brap Brap.
Some really nice and interesting cars out on track. Just a selection from me.

Was a great day and I have an amazingly red face. Waiting to download my pics at the moment as I had a family barbecue at home when I got there. Nice to be informed of these things lol. I took 351 pics Paul!!! and binned loads of them for poor quality. Will start a couple of threads later.
Saw this at CSS and thought it was mint. Glad to see that you've bought it mate as I'm sure Daniel would be pleased that someone will be lavishing a lot of time and love on it as you did on the Trophy.
Welcome to CS. You'll be pleased to know that you won;t be the oldest member. Have seen some of those cars around. Get along to a meet when Tim arranges a lo0cal one
See you guys at 6.00 at Asda. Fletch are you in the derv. Gorms they rent helmets at Combe but you can borrow mine if I'm not using it, that's if you;ve got a big head.
Great read and good luck with the Time Attack. Great work from your dad on repairing that, as a lot of others have said that would have been scrapped by a lot of people due to the damage and age.
Really like that Tom, will have a good look at it at Combe next week. May be looking at one of these soon when I find out what mileage I'll be doing on a regular basis.
Can't make it as am going to the Theatre that night to see Will Young in Cabaret. Just so glad I got rid of the yellow car as I would really be doubting my preferences. At least I can say the Missus made me do it.
Got dragged along to this last night and spotted a few Clios in attendance. At least I didn't see you doing burn outs or doughnuts. It was banging and wicked and made me feel like I stepped back to a Max Power Cruise night of the 90s. Funniest part was a black Octavia turning up just as a Beemer...
Went along to the monthly Brooklands Classic Breakfast. Met up with a few members of V6.net and had a great breakfast and strolling around looking at cars is never boring.

Luke mate can't believe it. Really sorry for you but as others say a car is replaceable a life isn't.
Had something similar happen to me a few years back in my Escort GTi. Came round a corner and a car had stopped as a dustbin lorry had pulled over onto the wrong side of the road and stopped...
