Great meet tonight and it was good to see so many people there. I hold my hands up and am not proud of my driving standards. I appreciate that the Police could have given me a right going over for driving a chav chariot. The best part was seeing his face when he looked in my window and instead...

Just another update of a couple of things we managed to do at the weekend. Fitted the new engine top mount. Put an OEM unit in and it has made so much difference. Then decided to have a go at fitting my K-Tec strut brace which I was convinced would not fit.
It's nice to be wrong sometimes...
Those of you who know me know that my son has been modding in the VAG scene for some time. He had a brief fling with a Mk1 Eunos a few years back and has recentlygone back to a MX5. He got a standard Jasper Conran 1.8 at a steal with a hard top and the hideous silver highlights. After a couple...
Yea not bad for Fiat Grigio steel but apparently it's the paint code that's important. Tim had his done at Regal and they did a great job, so will be hoping to get it in once suspension is done.
Realised that I have not updated this for some time. Car has been starting with no problems for a few weeks now. Have been putting a few miles on it and it has really benefitted from regular runs. Had put off doing anything else to the car or throwing any more money at it until I had confidence...
Been working on this for a few months now and had a few trials and tribulations along the way. Went for a drive today and stopped to take a few pics.
Need to fit the coilovers, new brakes and tyres then hopefully it will be ready for Castle Combe at the end of April.
Looked good when I saw it yesterday. As it's inside you don't notice the difference. Apparently you could use 647 grigio steel as itis the same colour. I'll let you know when I've used it on mine.
Went along to this today along with Christopher. Peter Saywell is a multi millionnaire who has a collection of supercars. He hires Goodwood a couple of days a year and lets his friends drive his toys on a trackday.
His Pagani Zonda is a one of created by Pagani to his specification.

Am getting the Phase 1 together and waiting to do some work on the suspension so it hasn't turned a wheel on track yet.
So having to use the daily
Yes it's dat Panda.
Loved your car it was an absolute weapon out there and was good to chat with you at the end of the day. Thanks for the video of my Panda holding you up.
Know how you feel mate got so frustrated with mine that torching it would have made me happy. Stick with it and get it sorted and then just enjoy driving it. My gremlins are happy since Mike had a word with them I'm slowly getting some confidence back in the car.

I'm up for this again this year as it was really interesting last year and great to walk on the grid as they all lined up.
Pierre it was a pleasure meeting you on Thursday. You seem to have taken well to the track as you went flying by me at one point. Did you know you had your passenger headlight not working?
I only took the Panda as my Ph1 wasn't ready in time due to its French electrics. The Panda is really suited to a small circuit like Llandow. I took it last year and had fun but it didn't seem fast. This time round knowing the track helped. Toyo T1rs on the front were really grippy in the wet...
It was more than a moment Oli, I saw my whole life flash before my eyes slower than the tyre wall. Still don't know how I caught it in time. At least I kept it on the black stuff when you were in it. Cheers for the ride in the oil guzzler.
Chip thanks for the ride, having been in it last year and then today they are two completely different cars. I was just completely blown away by how responsive and driveable it was as well as how mental quick it was. The car was awesome even in the confines of Llandow.
