I competed on the Manx International Rally in this last week and finished 68th overall and 1st in class.
I will get some pics up etc when I get chance.
Have you fitted some to yours @STEVE.M
I ordered a ds21 for mine yesterday after i asked for that part number and the bloke was an arse saying it wasn't listed for my cup, and there wasn't a shaft listed for mine.
(It was the same bloke from the other day who said they didn't do them, not Lee)...
Rotors are right on the limit and would need new pads too so decided to go back to standard setup with the ds1.11 pads as it is the cheaper option and I can sell the AP setup to fund the Manx.
Probably sell that rear beam I had off you too as I'm using the one that was on the cup shell.
Bit of an update.
I now have a new codriver for the manx rally, and so the car has advertising for tobermory-campsite.co.uk on it to go with the RTR parts advertising.
The red wheels are getting painted a different colour.
I used the car last weekend giving passenger rides at the Asda On Your...
Have you got the key in it while you are pushing the buttons?
It has to be in and turned (can't remember which setting) to be able to push in the buttons.
Stage 9.
I was 11th overall and 1st in class with a 30+ second lead over 2nd in class.
My fault, in the pissing down rain in the afternoon, the concrete sections were like ice.
I came very quick into that section, aquaplaned, so chucked it into the 90r with the handbrake, and booted it to try...
It's finished!
Another long day which didn't help after I realised I had left my msa licence and paperwork in work, but after a few phone calls I tracked down a key holder and went and got it.
All the rest of the interior refitted, here's a few pics as I need some sleep before a 5.30 am alarm...
Just been out and sprayed the welds and seat rails. Bit of a rush job (paint runs but most should be hidden) obviously but at least they should be dry by the morning ready for reassembly
will give everything a wipe down in the morning while the car is empty.
I need sleep now!
Cheers @sam JFM but if the weather is like this, there wont be a battle unless my wets turn up, otherwise it's going to be damn slippy!!
Havnt driven it in anger yet either so it will be bit of a learning curve getting used to epas and hopefully decent tyres instead of the road tyres I'm used...
Forgot to mention, it's booked to be msa logbooked on Saturday afternoon so it has to be completed by then, but then it will be ready on the trailer to go on sunday morning.
